getting to know each other

(Andy's pov)

We all have been at the park for an hour. I've been watching Kat and Onyex play with Onyex's son Parker . Then Kat walks over to me and said "so if we're going to dating then maybe we should know  more about each other. " I got up and kissed her head then wrapped both my arms around her waist. "Ok baby girl,let's go walk." I said as I let her go,then put my arm around her shoulders. "So, all time favorite band?" I asked her. "Mmmhmm.... As cliché as it may just be, my favorite band is really BVB. Because I found y'all when I was going through a lot of things, and y'all helped me though it all. So thank you for that." She said as she leaned on the side of a wall. I smiled and asked,"favorite song?" "Bvb? Or just all time favorite from any band?" She asked. "Umm... Both?" I said.  "Will bvb is Savior and then there's one for the money by ETF." Kat said as she picked up a rock that she has been looking at for awhile and suck it in her pocket. "Why'd you do that?" I asked her and she smiled then kept walking in front of me. She didn't answer that question.

( Kat's pov)

We walked around the park for a little bit longer. Andy asked me questions and I answered all them but one. I didn't answer it cause I'm not sure how to explain it to him. As we walked I seen a sign for a nature trail. " Hey Andy we walk the trail maybe there's a lake or something. " I said as I grabbed his hand and pulled him to the beginning of the trail. Why does his hand and mine feel like they fit perfectly together. We're we made for each other? If so I wonder why. I was snapped out of my thoughts by Andy lifting my face up to look at him. " You ok babe?" Andy asked. "Yeah I was just thinking. I guess I zoned out ." I said with a small giggle it the end. Andy leaned down and kissed my forehead. " Let's go see some nature." Andy said as he interlaced our fingers.

(Andy's pov)

The walk was quiet, but not the awkward kind. Now we're standing on a small bridge looking at the fish and water. " Ya know, you still haven't answered the question asked at the park." I said as I stood behind kat and wrapped my arms around her body. She grabbed my arms and held on to them. "That's because I don't know how to explain it." She said as she leaned her head back on my chest. Kat is the perfect height too. Because she comes right up to my chest. So she only 5 foot 3 inches. So even if she had heels on she would only come to my shoulder. I think it is cute that she's short. "So just tell me the reason and I'll ask you about what I don't understand. " I said as leaned down kissed her check. "Ok, well last year my aunt told me if I ever find myself looking at a rock and either can't stop or keep going back to it then to keep it cause there more then likely a reason for it." She told me. " Well I get that. " I said . "Really? You do? " Kat asked kinda surprised. I chuckled and half smiled. I was just about to say something when my phone rang.

A- hello?
O- hey you guys need to come back we're about leave.
A-oh, ok we're on our way. Bye Onyxe.
O- bye Andy oh and tell kat to stop leaving her phone places.
A- ok I will.

"Why didn't she call me?" Kat asked. " Because babe, you left your phone at the playground, and she said to tell you to stop leaving your phone places." I said. She smiled and we headed back.
