"Hey, I'm back."
"Oh, I've got a question for you. Can you stop thinking about him for a while?"
I stood at the door, shocked at what she just said.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to..."
"It's okay."
That night, I realised that I had taken that promise too serious. What Josephine said earlier was true. I had to stop thinking about him for a while. I have been rejecting and avoiding every boy since I've moved here. What if he had forgotten about me already and broke the promise already? What if he had forgotten about me already? Ugh, stop thinking about him already Ami! I've been living alone since my parents moved to City C because of their job. And I have no siblings so I'm basically lonely. "Why didn't you follow your family then?" you might ask. Because I made friends here and I don't want to loose them again like how I did to Haru.
I woke up the next morning earlier than usual so instead of running to the near by convenient store to grab some breakfast and drink, I made myself some egg and bacon and a cup of cappuccino. After eating, I got dressed and went to the bus stop to wait for Josephine.
