don't hug your dog if they become uncomfortable or scared as it can make your dog afraid of you or can give him a panic attack. panic attacks are really not good because they can be traumatic or worse. please do not hug your dog if they whimper or show any signs of the above. If your dog comes over to you for a "hug" please don't restrict him/her and let the dog easily break free if needed. I love dogs and would cry if I saw a dog having a panic attack. all dogs are floffballs (pun intended)
