Lilly's POV

2 weeks have flown by since my last encounter with Hunter. I know you probably think i'm stupid to ignore him, but when he left, I would wait by the window every day to see if he would ever return. I gave up after 5 years. And now that he is back, I don't know what to consider anymore. " Mrs James" I poke my head up " I asked you a question" " Um sorry can you repeat the question Mrs. Bare" Mrs Bare is my History teacher. She is a teacher that you don't and I mean DON'T want to get on her bad side. " See class this is why you pay attention. Now Mr Wells do you know the answer to this" I feel his smirk creeping on his face. " August 3rd on 1492 was when Christopher Columbus discovered America" That little- " Correct. Mrs James next time pay attention and try to be more like Mr Wells here" Oh no she didn't.  " Mrs Bare, If I was to be more like Hunter here, I would be an obnoxious little bitch and a pain in the ass" A satisfying grin crept  up on my face when I saw Hunter's priceless reaction. " Mrs James! That is no way to speak to a student! especially to a new student. Detention for the rest of the week with me during lunch!" Its Wednesday so only Today, Thursday and Friday. I heard laughter and turned around to see Hunter finding this amusing . And the teacher fortunately saw that. " Since you laughed Mr Wells you will stay in with her."

I would say what but ya see, I don't  want more detention ,especially with him.

" 3 days! 3 flipping days stuck in a room with him! No I can't" As you can see i'm outraged. " Lilly calm down. Maybe you and him can catch up from the last what? Ten years." Sarah said calmly.  Carrie and I both looked at her insane. I was gonna say a comment when the lunch bell rung. " Ugh wish me lucky" I spoke clearly annoyed. " Good luck" they both say. I roll my eyes and grab my lunch and head to Mrs. Bare's room. When I get there I see that Hunter isn't there. " Ah Mrs James. There are some worksheets on your desk for you to work on. Mr. Wells should be- oh look here he is" Right when she said that the devil himself walked in. " Now I will go since both of you are here" Right when she left Hunter snapped. " What the hell is wrong with you?!"

" Excuse me?" I snap

"Did I leave you for 10 years? No" 

" I waited by the front door everyday for 5 years! 5 years for you to come back. Finally when I was 12 I realized that you weren't coming back for a long time. And now you show up here? 10 years later?"

" Lilly god dammit I'm sorry I didn't come back in the time you wanted! The world does not revolve around Lilly James!  I kept my promise from when we were 7 years old. Do you really think I would forget about it? huh. Well I didn't . It raced through my head of every second to every minute. To every day to every month. So how about we just restart" He snapped

" I don't know" I said

" How do you not know? Everyone loves me already and this is only my second day. The girls are swooning over me. Why can't you be like them Lilly? huh" Oh hell no

" Wanna know something Wells" I speak.

" Last name basis I see and yea" he responded

" I.Will.Never.Be.One.Of.Your.Toys"

And with that I did the only reasonable thing anyone would do. Okay not anyone, but the reasonable thing I would do.
