I was already late for school. I took bites of my pancakes as i run past my mom in the kitchen, i put on my black high tops at the front door. I was going to miss my bus if i moved at a slower rate. It was the first day of 10th grade and i knew i coildn't be late. New teachers to meet, old friends to catch up with and assignments to complain about.

As i ran around the corner of my street, i saw the big yellow bus still (thank god) waiting for any late kids. I ran as fast as i could to the bus without looking like a turkey. I climbed up the bus, scanning rows and rows of familiar faces. "Hi"s and "hello"s hit me as i went past, until i finally came to one face. He had a tanned skin tone. His big brown eyes so kind and warm it made my stomach flip. He had headphones on, zoning out of the presence. He was my childhood friend-Cameron Dallas, the boy next door. As i sat down next to him, i thought about what happened to us over the summer...

*hi guys :) (or whoever bothered to read this) im sorry my chapter is really short. Im kinda new here so, yea. Im gonna work on more longer chapters soooonn ;)
