I smiled and kissed Rosie's cheek as she smiled back and handed me a plate.
"Thanks Rose." I smiled and sat down before my phone went off. Blast it. Who could be calling right now? I checked the ID before answering. "Hey Skip."
"Hey Lauren. I'm sorry for calling like this."
"It's fine. Did you need something?" I asked.
"Well Kana called me and said there was helicopter that flew past. I noticed it myself and it looked like it came from your area."
"A helicopter?" I frowned a bit. "I saw one coming from out of town. Something seems off.."
"That's just what I was thinking."
"Well thanks for the notice Skip. I'll take a flight and meet you guys in South New Caption. I wanna get to the bottom of this."
"As do I. We'll see you then."
