Chapter 43

All summer Emillio had the best summer of his life spending time with his auntie Nikita and her boyfriend his uncle Michael, Cassandra, Carlito, Carter, James and Sophia who who spend the last two weeks of July with them again in Spain

Nikita's baby bump had grown too and was starting to show so she began wearing bigger and wider clothes to hide it in case media was around, they found out about Michael and Nikita being in Spain two weeks ago when they took a little trip to Madrid with just the two of them to spend a day with just them

"Nikita, Amparo just arrived in town with Carlos they're here to pick up Emillio" Cassandra informed Nikita by phone

"We're at the beach" Nikita answered

"You've fifteen minutes to get here" Cassandra told her and hung up

"Shit" Nikita gasped "Emillio we've to go back to Cassandra and Carlito's place" she told him

"Aw please we're building a life size sandcastle" Emillio sighed

"I know sweetie but your mom is in town to pick you up to go back to California" Nikita explained

"Tell her I'm not going back yet, summer is not over till September begins" Emillio told her

"Honey I know but you know it's not your mom that called me it's my auntie Cassandra that called me" Nikita reminded him

"Fine, but can we tell mom I'm going home with you and uncle Michael?" Emillio asked

"We'd love that but your mom she hates me, remember?" Nikita reminded him

"But she loves uncle Michael" Emillio mentioned

"How'd you know that?" Nikita asked

"Well she went to a concert two years ago and always turns up the volume of the radio when he's on the radio and she fainted last time remember?" Emillio explained while they made their way to the others who enjoyed some cold drinks in the shade

"You guys finished the sandcastle already?" Michael asked

"No" Emillio sighed sadly "my mom and her boyfriend Carlos are in Spain to drag me back to San Diego" he continued and sighed heavily

"Yeah, so we need to head back to Cassandra and Carlito's" Nikita sighed not ready to see her sister either knowing Amparo will flip when she knows Emillio spend two month's with her

"Don't stress, she's not worth it" Michael mentioned wrapping his arm around Nikita while they all made their way back to the car

"I know" Nikita sighed

"Where's my Son?" Amparo asked Cassandra while Carlos and Carlito enjoyed some beer in the backyard while catching up

"He's on his way from the beach with his.. friends" Cassandra answered carefully

"He made new friends in Spain?" Amparo asked suspiciously

"They're not his new friends" Cassandra mentioned

"Then who are they?" Amparo asked crossing her arms

Before Cassandra could answer that Emillio, Nikita, Michael, Sophia, Carter and James walked in talking about the amazing time they had this summer

"And then I won" Emillio smiled and high fived Michael and James

"But I was stuck with the girls, we all know boys are better at building sandcastle's" Carter complained
