Jimmy Thames.

That name means many things to several different people. I personally like to believe that it means the most to me. When in all reality it doesn't.

The name means the most to Sarah Thames.

This, of course, is expected seeing as that's his sister. His own flesh and blood. But she's not who I'm counting for obvious reasons. Who wouldn't love their own brother?

What I mean is that I want to be the only one who loves him the most in that way. I want to be the one who he comes to when he's happy, sad, or angry. I'd do anything to be that person for him but I'm not.

I bet somebody is. I bet he has a girl he can't take his eyes off of. I bet he has somebody out there who lights up his day with a simple look or makes his day with a single phrase.

I want to be that girl.

"Sammy? You listening?" Sarah asks.

"Uh, yeah," I reply having spaced out completely.

"I swear without me you'd be failing Geometry right now," she sighs.

"I've told you a thousand times I don't study because I don't have to. I can take the tests without having previously studied as long as I pay attention in class. I have no reason to study when I already know the material. I only come to your house to make you feel better about yourself," I sigh. She rolls her eyes and looks back toward the textbook.

"If you're only here to make me feel better you might as well go watch nerd shows with my brother."

"Don't tempt me," I tease.

"I always forget you watch those things. I don't even get it they're basically cartoons." Sarah says going on another anime rant.

"We've been over this anime and cartoons, first of all, have totally different animation styles not to mention your kid would be pretty messed up if they watched them in childhood."

"Doubt it," Sarah replies.

"You know what? You're going to watch Attack On Titan with me!" I declare ready to prove my best friend wrong.

"When?" She asks looking up from her book. The real reason she invites me over is because she feels less bad about procrastinating her studies when I'm pushing her to do so.

"Now," I say confidently and she shakes her head with a smirk.

"A new dubbed episode of Sword Art online or whatever it's called came out on Kiss anime or something. Jimmy will not be giving you the TV for a million dollars." Sarah replies. I hate when she smirks cause it always catches me off guard. She looks just like Jimmy when she does for some reason. They already have the same blonde hair and blue eyes but when they smirk. They have the same face as well.

"Whatever, as his little sister's favorite friend. I'm going to go ask."

"If he gives us the TV you're my new God," Sarah replies as I run out of her room.

Sure enough, I find Jimmy watching Sword Art Online but he doesn't even seem to be looking at the TV. His phone's out and he just looks distracted. It's like he's got something serious on his mind.

"Jimmy?" I ask quietly but he doesn't hear me so I decide that it's a good opportunity for a jump scare.

"Boo!" I tell squeezing his shoulders as he falls off the couch. He's so over dramatic that he literally falls backward over the couch. I literally die laughing and he just glares at me.

"What are you laughing at?" He demands.

"You just looked so funny," I smile, my cheeks hot from laughing.

"Oh really?" He questions. "We'll see whose funny looking when I'm through with you." He shouts and immediately starts chasing me. We run throughout the entire house until he finally pins me on the couch and starts tickling.

"Mercy! Mercy!" I scream giggling and he finally stops tickling me as we both breathe heavily. "I guess I probably do look pretty funny now."

"Yeah, you're- you're beautiful." He stutters and quickly kisses me before we both hear somebody running down the stairs.

"So uhm- uh can we use the TV?" I ask panicking inward.

"I was watching Sword Art Online though."

"I'm introducing your sister to Attack On Titan," I reply and he grins.

"You can have the TV for eternity. As a matter of fact, you might as well let me watch with you because I can't wait to see her reaction to finding out the difference between real anime and a lovely cartoon."

"You might want to get off me," I murmur embarrassed.

"Oh yeah," he says shyly before rolling off of the couch.

"Okay, so I'm not sure what I just walked in on but do we get the TV or not?" Sarah asks hands on her hips.

"Bonus. We get Jimmy and the TV," I smirk.

"I knew that if you succeeded it would come at a price." She sighs. "I'll go make the popcorn.

"I'm sitting in between you two," Jimmy smirks.

"Why exactly?" I ask.

"Isn't it obvious? I have a crush on my sister's best friend."

Then just like that.

Everything changes.
