(Jessie's POV)
"Its really her...." I breathed out. Rex hugged me from behind and kissed the back of my head as I saw her talking to an officer "yes Jessie....its her...." he said with a smile clear in his voice. A heard a bark so we both saw a beautiful black as night dog run over to my little Evelyn. She has a dog? Evelyn bent down and started petting the dog when the officer walked away "come on now is our chance" he whispered in my ear and let go of me. I walked up behind her with a grin and tears threatening to spill.
<Pup! Pup! Pup!!> my wolf was bouncing off the walls as she found her lost pup.
"Your even more beautiful now then when I last saw you..." I whispered.
She stood up and spun around in shock. Her eyes went wide when she saw us "who are you" she whispered. I took a step foward with a smile "your mother" she gulped "how do I know your not lieing hmm? my last 'mother' lied to me and turned out to have kidnapped me" I looked at Rex with said eyes that screamed for help.
Rex took a step "Well seeing as your former 'guardian' is missing what if you moved into the palace with us until we can really proove that we are your parents...or until you are less confussed" Rex offered. "Well....I....I...uh..I guess....but! Lady comes with me!" I looked at her dog "alright its no problem...we already have a dog and two cats....another dog can' hurt" Rex looked at me "but I thought I said---"
"The dog comes with us Rex!" I snapped. He gulped and nodded "girl power..." Evelyn whispered. I smiled "is there anything you need from the house? any cars you had or want to sell?" I nodded "I have stuff in the car and I wanna sell my car but my motorcycle stays or I am not going" she stated with my same exact no bull shit face and crossed arms look. "thats fine" Rex said. She walked into the house "I asume your Lady?" the dog barks standing up "which is your car" the dog took off and I followed.
A mover who I am assuming Rex summoned walked up to us "would you like the car removed?" I nodded "yes take this to the dealer ship you know which one I am tlking to but move the motor cycle into your truck and she is getting a few more items with her so wait till she gets what she needs" I stated.
*** Later that night ***
"I thought you had a guest coming tonight Jessie?" I looked up at Jade's cousin. Tonight at dinner was my family, Rex's and I's parents couldn't make it tonight, Nate, Monica and their daughter is at a baby sitter's house, Gracie and Hamilton with their family everybody else will be at the pack dinner in celebration.
"Yes but we don't know where she is at the moment.....probably in her room still..." I said as we waited for dinner to be finished cooking. He kept glaring, glancing and pouting at his cellphone as he sat in a chair. I leaned over to his mother "Is Luca ok? He seems to be taking his emotions out on his phone" I whispered to Emily his mother. She chuckled "We never know with him anymore...but my guess is its because his girlfriend probabley isn't texting back" I laughed. "Drama Queen"
"Am not!" he snarled. "Luca William Benson" Emily growled. "Sorry Momma..." he mumbled. I felt a tugged so I looked down before smiling "Hello my little darling" I cooed picking up my little pup. <Pup....pup.....pup.....where other pup?> my wolf whimpered. She is still on edge since my daughter isn't in the room.
<She is in her room most likely. I ressured my wolf. <pup...>
"does Kimmy wanna come to uncle Nate?" I looked at Nate "you can try but no promises" Kimmy hit away his hand "come on Uncle Nate is lonely!"
"Hey! I am right here!" Monica snapped. Nate shrugged kimmy's hand went onto my nose causing us to laugh "Ok you what I am gonna check on her" I said standing up "Rex I'll be back" I made my way up stairs and down the halls till I reached the nursery and changed Kimmy's diaper before going to Evelyn's Room but on my way I heard a guitar and singing coming from the room. I reconized it as home by chris daughtry. I just stayed and listened till it was finished.
