I was in a meeting with my team about our set up and schedule for New York fashion week when I got a call. I was suprised to get a call from my friend Shelby. I mean we weren't that close just friends from high school and only to each other every few months or so. So hen I answer I was not prepared for what I was going to be told.
" Hey Shelby, can I call you back later I'm in the....."
" Lily" she said in a serious tone that
filled me with concern. I asked " what is it Shelby your worrying me"
" It's about Brooklyn. About 30 minutes ago we got a call from a young man named Kyle Reeds he reported a break in."
" What, what about Brooklyn is she hurt?"
" I'm sorry when we arrived there was no one except for Kyle there but there seems to have been a struggle. We believe this is also a missing persons as case as well."
When I heard that my mind went completely blank I did not want to believe what I was hearing. I quickly told her that I would be there by tonight and hung up. I rushed back to my hotel to get some of my things and head to the airport. When I got to my private jet I told the pilot to head straight home. While we flew back I sent a quick text apologizing for leaving so abruptly telling them that there is a family emergency I need to get to and told them that I hope fashion week goes well for them. During that whole flight my mind was going a million miles per hour, wishing and praying that my baby was going to be there perfectly fine.
God please.
