Techno music blared through the enormous speakers set throughout the club. Flashy strobe lights with colours of all hues bounced and bobbed following the rhythm of the music. The roaring music reverberating through the chest cavity, sending packets of enormous energy into the bodies of the party attendees.

Troops of young men and women danced to the peppy beat of the music, the huge sound systems resonating withing their spine. The stench of sweat mixed in alcohol should have nauseated the youngsters, if not for the alcohol pumping through their system.

Smartly dressed cocktail waiters pushed across a sea of people, holding their trays with glasses high above their heads. Glasses filled with beer, rum, whiskey and wine, all designed to pump the veins of the drinker with inevitable euphoria.

"Ma'am, drinks?" The waiter asked with a smile on his face."Red wine, please." Glass after glass, drowsiness slowly set in. Intoxication blurred her vision and excited all the tiny cells respiring in her body.

Off at a distance, Farra caught a pair of eyes, shining from underneath a pair of gold-rimmed glasses. His gaze held a strange determination, a determination to get hold of whatever he wanted. He slowly made his way towards Farra, pushing against a sea of ladies dressed half-naked. "Jo, we need to talk." He held her hand with the strengh of steel and dragged her to a room, pushing across a throng of mindless, drunken souls. Her legs felt light and she whizzed through the crowd.

"Don't try to escape, Jo. You will never be able to," his boomed across the walls the room. Farra's eyes widened at the threat, the cloud in her brain slowly clearing away. She had to regain her sanity to fight of the beast staring straight at her.

"Vicky, I did not expect this from you,"  Farra's eyes clouded with beads of tears, threatening to wash away her makeup.

"I TRUSTED YOU WITH MY HEART. IS THIS HOW YOU PAY ME BACK?" she shouted with all her might. The fury in her heart has to be released.

"Yes, now come here, darling." He inched towards her with a sly, wicked smile, unfazed by the intensity of her voice.

"I WOULD NOT LET YOU TOUCH ME, EVEN IN MY DEATH!!!" she screamed  while running across the room and tugging onto the door. The door could not be opened. She banged, pushed and kicked onto the door to make it open, to no avail.

"You are doomed, Jo." He hissed, his breath burning my neck.

"Leave me alone! Please!!!" she pleaded, tears splashed quietly on the carpet of the floor.

He extended his hand to touch her...

ARGHHHHHHHHHH!!!

She woke up from a dream so  agonizing, she thought it real for a moment. She wiped beads of sweat of from her forehead with her palm. She tapped onto her iPhone, and the time showed 5.00 a.m.

"Alhamdulilah, just in time for suhoor," her heart whispered as she forced herself to the toilet to clean herself up.

Slowly, Farra made her way down the staircase to the kitchen. Afamilliar silhoutte was walking across the kitchen when Farra caught her eyes.

"Amma, what are you doing here?"

"Preparing, what do they call it, sihir, sihur, what is that?"

"It's sahur Amma."

"Ahhh sahur. I'm preparing sahur for you, Farra Johara."

"And since when did you start doing that?"

Her gaze held a sincere pain as she uttered "since I realised how much guilt is weighing down on my back."

Farra kept quiet, unable to reply to her.

"I prepared tuna sandwich for you. Drink enough water and don't forget to make dua before eating."

"Okay Amma, go up and rest okay."

"Yeah."

Farra slowly munched onto the tuna sandwich with so many thoughts buzzing through my brain.

"Alhamdulillah, the dream just now is just a dream." My heart whispered.

Farra prolonged her sujood. She have just learnt to pray properly, and up until now, she is yet to find a place, a spot on this Earth which was more peaceful than this spot. The prayer mat, in the position of sujood. Nowhere else does her palpitating heart find serenity, except at this one spot.

"O Allah, it took me so long to find you, and I regret every moment I have lived without realising about you and your love. O Allah, would you please forgive my sins and allow my heart to remain in your path of love?"

Her phone bleeped, and she attended to it once she was done folding her prayer clothes.

📲Whatsapp message from Falisa📲

"Wow, message early in the morning? What could it be?"
She eagerly clicked the message.

The Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said: "Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, says, 'O son of Adam, as long as you call on Me, I shall forgive you of what you have done, and think nothing of it. O son of Adam, even if your sins were to reach up to the clouds in the sky, and then you were to ask for My forgiveness, I would forgive you and think nothing of it. O son of Adam, even if you were to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth, and then you were to meet Me after death, not worshipping anything besides Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as the earth.'" [Tirmidhi]

With tears flooding her eyes, she fell into sujood once again. Allah answered her silent prayers, eventhough it was only through a text message. Nothing meant more to her than the love He showered upon her on her journey towards him.

"Ya Allah, thank you for being so merciful towards me. Your love means the world to me."

"Ya Allah, save me from the devil ravaging my dreams and reality."
