Kim Hayoon's view
"Why not? That's the real you, why should you live as someone else?" He asked.
"Many knew I died from a crash. But Jungkook didn't really believe that I died from it. He knows that I was alive. When I got into that crash, someone saved me and that's where I'm living at right now. Because of pity, he took care of me and helped me regain my memories back because I had a temporary amnesia back then. I went back to my mother, receiving the news that my father died because he got a heart attack once he heard about me being gone and dead. My mother had a huge grudge on me that now, she told me to get out of their lives. And the person who saved me when I crashed planned that I should just change my name. Now, I am here to earn a living and to also see him even if I can't call him as my husband anymore."
He sighed. "You've gone through so much."
"Yes.."
"But you're living fine now, right?" He asked.
I nodded.
"Can I ask you a favor?" I said to him. With a smile, he nodded. "Can you not mention this to him? Can this be a secret to the two of us?"
He nods again, "You can count on me."
He stood up and shook hands with me.
"It was nice to see you again," he said. "I will leave now."
He was about to leave when I halted him. "I didn't even get to know your name, sir."
"I'm Jang Jin Hyuk, son of Mr. Jeon's secretary."
Oh.
"Thank you, Jin Hyuk-ssi."
He flashed me a smile and left my office with me sighing in sadness.
How I hope to be with my family back
As soon as my thoughts were interesting by the sudden knock on my door, my attention diverted there.
His tall figure made me stand up immediately to greet him.
"Mr. Jeon," I said as I bowed.
Telling me to take a seat, I did what was said as he took a seat, too. Finally getting himself comfortable in my office, he began having the conversation with me being slightly nervous when I just saw him yesterday.
"Do you like your office?" He asked.
A bit shy to reply with words, I chose to just nod my head.
We talked some more and had a few conversations of him owning this room before and other things about the company and the workers.
I missed this. I missed talking to him, hearing his voice everyday, looking at him as he smiles, waking up with him beside me, and seeing him with our child. Oh how I miss my old life so much.
...
Noon time came and I just finished some errands that Mr. Jeon asked me to do. It was fun having to talk with him again.
My phone rang showing Kai's name on the call. As soon as knowing it was him calling, I picked up the call.
"Hayoon? Lunch?" I heard Kai say.
"Yea I'm done with my job and ready to eat lunch. I'll be waiting at the lobby."
"Okay."
After finishing the call, I got my things ready and went to the lobby to wait for him. Minutes have passed and he arrived.
"Did you wait long?"
"Long enough for me to get my hair all white," I joked and he chuckled.
"Come on, let's get going. I'm kind of hungry," he says.
"It's obvious," I said and we both laughed as we walked to his car and had our lunch.
...
He dropped me back to my work and I went back to my office doing my job again. The day ended with me tiredly going home.
6 months later
My work was going on well and I was still living at Kai's. I told him that I should move out and live on my own but he insisted on me staying.
Jungkook and I are fine, too. He's still clueless of my true identity and sometimes he would tell me how I'm so much alike with his wife.
Of course because I'm her.
He's been doing great. Infact his company has been on top ever since he took over his father. I guess second place can still be great.
Well as for Jungha, he turned one last month. All the employees of Jeon Corporation were invited to the party and so I really made time to go. When I arrived there, I saw how happy Jungha was with Jungkook and the oppa's. He has been a good child, as to what I hear from Mr. Jeon's stories. I'm glad he grew up so well.
I was there at the party, wanting to give him a hug or just telling him that mommy is here. But I couldn't and I guess I shouldn't. Jungkook might think that I've lived my life happily without even thinking of him and our child while he was having a hard time raising him on his own. I just want to stop bugging them anymore because I don't want to ruin their lives.
As for now, I had my day off. I'm currently at the café near Jungkook and I's house when I was still living there before. Youjung and I saw each other a few months back then and I told her everything. Well she and Bogum oppa. They felt pity and sad of what I'm going through right now.
Now, I'm having my day off well spent with YouJung in this café, catching up and talking about how life was going.
"Are you and Bogum oppa really going to be parents soon?" I asked excitedly.
Happily, she nods and we both clapped our hands with huge grins on our faces.
"Well let's stop talking about me and my husband. Let's talk about you. How are you doing these past few weeks?" She asked.
I sighed.
"My work is fine, I'm living fine. But something's just missing. And everyday I look for that missing piece that I still don't know where these past 10 months," I replied.
She, too, released a sigh and showcased her sad reaction to how my life is living now.
"They are the missing piece, Haj. You miss them and you need them back in your life. You want to bring your family back."
But how? When I can't even tell them the truth or they might hate me for as long as they live.
"I don't think that would be a great idea."
Interrupting our chat time together, my phone rang with an unknown number shown. Confused, I stared at my phone weirdly and just answered the phone out of curiousity. And that, made me regret living again.
"Hey darling. How's life without baby love Jungkook? I should make my move now since he's all mine without you on the way."
