"Kim Hyunjin!" The teacher called.

"Here," I replied, bored.

I had always been a quiet kid, just staring at whatever I could find. Today, I had my phone out, unable to be seen by the teachers. I was texting Heejin, the second most popular girl in school. There was only one problem... She had no idea who I was. She was also in this class, but I never had the courage to talk to her.

Hiya!

Hi!

Whatcha doing?

I'm in class, but don't worry, we can still talk

Oh, I am too.

How are things going with Jinsoul?

We made up! I apologized for getting mad. She's just busy with her dance group

That's great!

Oh! I have to go, but I'll text later!

Okay! TTYL :)

Jinsoul is her girlfriend. They've been together for 5 years now. I'm Heejin's closest friend, which might be a problem, considering she doesn't know who I am. I'm too scared to talk to her. What if she doesn't like me? What if she doesn't know that I'm "Kitty"? Kitty is the persona I use when I'm too scared to say my name.

"Hyunjin?" I heard someone say.

"Eh?"

"I asked if you wanted to be partners. Did you hear the teacher at all?"

"Oh... Sorry Vivi. I was staring off into space, as normal."

"Don't worry about it, Hyunjin. We need to start working on the project, though," Vivi, my friend since childhood, sat next to me.

"Yeah, yeah," I said, before starting work on the project.

"Hey, you're Hyunjin, right?" I asked the girl who was sat alone.

"Eh- I- Yea..." She said awkwardly.

"I was told to meet you here."

"Oh... Why?"

"Jinsoul told me to hand you a flier. People say that you sing well, and have good stage presence. She wants you in her dance group. They also sing," I handed her the OEC flier.

"O-Oh. Okay. I'll think about it, thank you," Hyunjin smiled, stood up, and bowed.

"Bye, Hyunjin," I said with a wave.

"Bye, Heejin-Unnie," She said behind me.

I pulled my phone out and called Jinsoul.

"Jagi, I passed out a flier to someone who I think is a good fit," I smiled.

"Aish, Heekie-yah, I said that three was enough."
