THE GIRLS MEET
QUINN MCADAMS GAWKED AT THE BEACH HOUSE from the window of her cab. When she signed up to do this reality show, she hadn't considered the bonus perk of an essentially all expenses paid vacation. The cab slowed to a stop and the blonde girl thanked her driver, retrieved her luggage, and began to ascend the stairwell to her new home away from home.
Upon entering the house, she found it was completely empty. Although she was bursting with excitement and just wanted to meet the others, being the first one there did have its perks. The first being, she got to claim her bed without worrying about what anyone else wanted. She left her luggage in the entryway before tearing through the house in search of the comfiest bed. To her dismay, she realized all the beds had been removed from every room, and instead, a bunch of mattresses and blankets were left together in the upstairs living room.
"Well, I guess that's one way to ensure we get close." Quinn thought to herself, still disappointed that they would all be sharing.
She was torn away from her thoughts by the sound of the front door opening, which caused her to nearly fly down the stairs in excitement. In the doorway stood a gorgeous, tanned girl with two bags in her hands. She was biting her lip and looking around anxiously. Her posture seemed to relax slightly when she spotted Quinn, and her lips broke into a smile.
"Hi, I'm Delilah," The girl greeted, sitting her bag down to extend out her hand.
Quinn squealed and ignored the hand, opting for a hug instead. Delilah seemed taken aback at first, but eventually eased up and hugged the girl back. She released a shaky laugh as they pulled away from each other.
"Quinn," Quinn smiled at the girl, mentally deciding they would be great friends. "Come on, let's go make a drink."
Quinn snatched the girl's arm and dragged her towards the kitchen, forcing her to leave her bags at the door. Delilah leaned over the counter as Quinn got to work on the drinks, clearly experienced in the area. Food and drinks were heavily stocked, causing both girls to realize they'd made a good decision.
"Vodka cranberry okay?" Quinn asked the girl, who nodded in response.
Once both drinks were finished, Quinn slid one across the counter to the brunette girl. Delilah took one sip and winced slightly at the taste before setting it back down on the counter.
"Strong," Delilah noted, causing Quinn to smile like it were the best compliment she ever received.
Before Quinn could pester the girl with questions, they were both alerted by the sound of the door opening again. Quinn chugged the rest of her drink in one gulp while Delilah opted to leave it behind, then they both rushed to the door. They were both greeted with another gorgeous girl who was curiously studying the pile of bags on the floor. Quinn squealed before engulfing the girl in a hug that she did not reciprocate. Her arms stayed plastered to her side and her face looked mortified.
"She does that," Delilah informed her, before calmly extending her hand. "Delilah."
"Grier," The girl responded shyly, clearly relieved that Quinn had let her breathe.
"I'm Quinn," She informed with a small wave. "I can make you a drink!"
"Um, I'm okay, I think I'd rather get settled in first. Where are the rooms?" Grier replied, craning her neck to get a better view of the house.
"Yeah... About that..." Quinn started nervously. "It might be easier to just show you."
Quinn and Delilah retrieved their bags before the blonde girl led the other two to the upstairs 'bedroom.' The girl's mouths dropped as they surveyed their new sleeping arrangements for the next for weeks.
