childhood memories mean little to you as you stare down the mistake you made a year ago. hell, a few days ago.

you can still feel his hands all over your backside. you can hear the moans that filled the room, the sound of your panting and his muffled grunts. you see your face in the mirror and the deep concentration on his face from what he was-

"y/n, are you listening?"

you blink at your boss, unable to hide the deep scowl that's settled over your face. no, you hadn't been listening. but it wasn't because you were starstruck at the idols standing like perfect sculptures in front of you for the second time in a week.

it was because min fucking yoongi was watching you with dark, lustful eyes as if he wanted to tear all of your clothes off and fuck you right there in front of the rest of the group.

and the worst part? despite the hatred still buried deep in your tight chest stemming from the past hanging between the two of you-mixed with your annoyance at how easily you dropped your panties for him-you wanted him to.

your cheeks burn ever so slightly as you clear your throat and straighten against your chair. BangPD eyes you a moment as he waits for you to acknowledge that you are paying attention.

"i don't really see why i need to be a part of this," you mumble.

Yoongi snorts across the room. you ignore him.

"you're one of the best choreographers in this industry,
y/n. they don't want anyone else working on this with them. you'd be honored-"

despite the realization that you can very well be losing your job very soon for various reasons on top of cutting your boss off, you interrupt: "no offense to you wonderful idols, but i'm not honored. in fact, i'm a little confused at the fact that you lot remember me but not what happened."

all eyes fall on you, uncomfortable and tense. you know you should've shut your mouth before attacking the poor boys but you've stayed away from them for a year for good reason. suddenly they're back and Yoongi is eyeing you like prey and they want you to work with them. you think about Yoongi asking you to play along, how his ignorance spiked the boiling annoyance at the entire situation.

you're being petty, unfair, but you're so confused about everything going on that it's hard to get your emotions in check. immediately you feel guilty for having said anything at all.

"this isn't the time," BangPD sighs, already tired of your defensive behavior. he glances down at his watch before standing and looking over all of you sternly. "i have meetings to get to, so i'll let you all talk this over. excuse me."

that's your cue to get up and leave the room, so you quickly make your way out to the hall before you have to face the uneasy figures following behind you. you nearly yelp when a hand comes down softly on your shoulder, stopping you in your tracks.

Namjoon frowns down at you, gaze clouded with guilt. it makes you feel all the worse about your comment.

"y/n, we didn't mean offense. we know there's a lot between you and Yoongi-ah-"

you shake your head. "no, don't. i'm the one who should be apologizing. none of you had anything to do with..." your words trail off into silence as Yoongi appears behind Namjoon.

Jungkook pulls on Namjoon's arm to separate him from the ticking time bomb that you are around their hyung. with a small sigh, Namjoon smiles softly and turns away.

you flash an apologetic smile at the rest of the group, grateful when Jimin grins back and throws up the peace sign. he's always been closest to you aside from Yoongi. for a little while you talked to him after finding out about the pregnancy but the conversation dwindled as the days grew. you'd both gotten busy and understandably stopped talking altogether.
