The Autobot's Sparkling

Chapter 5:

(Buttercup's POV)
It been awhile since I met the nice bots here. They been taking care of me and even making sure I get my own little area.

They moved me closer to my current caretaker while he is watching them move my toys. When I notice the big friendly bit walking by I tried again and again to say the name I heard the bigger bots call him.

I will try again,"Optmis."I said and NY caretaker looked at me.

"What is it Buttercup. Come on."he said as I look at him. Maybe he can teach me.

"Opptis."I said again having trouble.

"Optimus."he said as I cooed.

"Optmmus."I said and he smiled.

"Your getting close. I have a feeling your trying to surprise him aren't you?"he said and I tilt my helm while the two bigger bots came up making faces. They really funny!

I giggled and reach for them.

"She actually laughing!"silver bot said on wheel smiling while he came up looking at caretaker,"We just finished her room. Can we show her?".

Caretaker grumble and I lean towards the two cause I was getting bored staying in one spot.  "Alright, you can also take her to the bot main hanger. So the other can finally see for themselves."he said as I buzzed happily when the yellow one took me.

He chuckled while we went into the new room. It was bigger and there was more toys! I reach for one and he pick it up to give to me.

It was a toy car!

He set me down and let me play with all the little cars.

"Hey, Buttercup. Say Sides and Sunnie."they said to me. I pause.

Sides and Sunnie? Is that their names? I guess they have a name like me too!

Big tough bot calls me little Butter.
Big friendly bit calls me little one.
And the green one with an odd coat called me Cupper. I don't like that name! At all!

One with shades call me cutie or sweetspark.

The yellow call me Butter too.

"Optus."I said a different name cause I wanted to focus on one name.

The two looked confuse,"Who name is she trying to say?"one asked as big tough bot came up and scoop me out of their grip.

"Your late."he said and walked away heading to an new area!

Yeah!

I pause when I seen a huge door way and then small group of bots talking near certain area while big tough bot smiled.

"Alright, little Butter. Stay right here." he said to me and I sit in front of him. I became curious of why he left me on the ground till I look to see a crowd of good bots.

There were different expressions.

Happy. Shock. And alot excited from one of caretaker's friends.

"Where did the sparkling come from?"an random mech said coming up and kneeling in front of me.

Tough bot smirk,"The twins found her awhile ago and she been gettin' care for by Ratchet. You can see that she little small for her stage."he said while I felt little uncomfortable. I start to crawl away and the tough bot watch while I hid behind his pede.

The friendly bot with shades smiled,"Hey, how you doing cutie?"he said as I hid away from him,"Come on now, you know who I am. It's Uncle Jazz here.".

A few new bots kneel down and even waved at me. I wasn't use to this much affection so I went up to one of his pedes and hid my face plate.

Where is my caretaker?

"Easy all of you. Buttercup here isn't us to all this attention, specially since she only starting to get to know us."I heard a familiar voice. I look up and there was the big friendly bot. I moved little bit show myself to him and he chuckled,"They only want to see you, little one. Show them what you can do."he said. I whine quietly and hid in big tough bot's pedes knowing I don't want to.

They both chuckle and he moved his pede behind me. I look around and turn to him giving a small whine.

"No, you need to see the other bots."tough bot said and I look to see the group of bots looking at me and starting at me. I turn back to him and whimper quietly.

"No, Buttercup. No."he said and push me away from him. I was in the center by myself and I seen bots watch...I don't like this.

I look up at the giant group of bots. I felt coolant build up in my optics.

"Alright! What everyone looking at?"a voice said and a bot push through the crowd and a red bot stop and look down.

I lower my helm and the bit smiled,"By Primus, she beautiful. Come on sweetspark, you got nothing to fear."he said crouching down to my size,almost," Now let's see. White armor and Woah! Yellow optics. She is a beaut.". The bot here seem to be really nice so I actually calm down little bit and the other bots start to say hi. Soon I felt better. The giant group of mechs talked to me and even some wanted to take me to go outside.

The red bot smiled moving his servos under mine. Lifting me off the ground. And she hold me up. The bot chuckled before I was taken by my caretaker.

I never been so glad to see him!

(Ratchet's POV)
I take Buttercup away from Cliffjumper before he got any ideas. I look at her and she buzzed looking at me.

"Hi, sweetspark. Time for energon."I said and the mechs look at me taking her away.....yes I was jealous.

I grow attach to her. And I have a feeling she has to me.

Will I accept being her caretaker? Or am I more to her?
