9-1-1: a story of forbidden love

The grandparents

Rebecca: "I hate you".

Bobby: "I know, now call".

Rebecca: "okay, I'm calling".

Rebecca grabs out her phone and calls her grandparents (Wendy and john).

Rebecca: "please don't answer the phone, please don't answer the phone".

Wendy: "hello, you've reached the Sinclair residence. How can I help you".

Rebecca : "grandma, hi".

Wendy: "Rebecca, your calling. John, Rebecca called. Shes on the phone right now, hurry up and come here".

John: "I'm coming".

Rebecca: "did I catch you guys at a bad time".

Wendy: "no, we we're just getting for seniors bingo tonight".

Rebecca: "I can call again later if you want".

John: "don't be silly Rebecca, bingo can wait. How's Los Angeles".

Rebecca: "its fine, I got job working for dad".

Wendy: "your working for your father".

Rebecca: "yes".

Wendy: "well, is it a good job".

Rebecca: "yeah, LA fire department".

Wendy: "and he isn't drinking or doing drugs".

Rebecca: "no grandma, he isn't".

Wendy: "well, it's good to know that some people can change. Are you living with him".

Rebecca: "no, I live with my fiancé".

John: "your engaged, to who. It better not be that josh guy you left us for".

Rebecca: "no,  I'm not engaged to josh. I'm engaged to a person that I work with, at the fire department".

Wendy: "really, and how long have you been with this partner of yours".

Rebecca: "about a year".

Wendy: "and he proposed because your pregnant".

Rebecca: "no, i mean I am pregnant but that's not why he proposed".

Wendy: "Rebecca, you are coming back to Chicago. Right now".

Rebecca: "no, im not leaving LA".

Wendy: "Rebecca, you will do what I tell you, and I'm telling to come back to Chicago".

Rebecca: "and as I said, I'm not going to Chicago. You can not force me to leave my home, my family. I'm staying in LA".

Wendy: "well then, have a room at your house ready for your grandfather and I. We will be in Los Angeles by Friday".

Rebecca: "fine".

Wendy hangs up the phone. Bobby hearing everything comes over and give Rebecca a big hug.

Rebecca: "I told you how that conversation was going to end. Them coming to LA".

Bobby: "yes you were right, how are you going to tell Buck".

Rebecca: "easily. I'll tell him that my grandparents are coming this Friday and that he needs to be polite and act normal".

Buck: "who has to act normal".

Rebecca: "you do".

Buck: "why".

Rebecca: "because my grandparent will be in LA on Friday and their staying with us  apparently. Which is why you need to be polite and act normal".
