He soon began living with his biological parents. He was so shocked with his new environment that he completely forgot about his previous life. He was trying really hard to settle in and explore everything in this new world. The world of gambling and violence.His new family didn't care about Namjoon and his brother, they only cared about money and drugs.
Meanwhile,things weren't going well for Taehyung, he missed his brother so much that he began to suffer from anxiety and depression. He wouldn't play with any of the other 3 year olds and stopped eating his meals. Sure action was needed if the little boy had to be saved. A court meeting was held and it was decided that the brothers would be allowed to meet once every 2 weeks.
Both brothers were ectastic about the news. But no one thought about the consequences of uniting the two brothers and forcefully seperating them again. The first time they met up the brothers cried and hugged each other and Namjoon got Taehyung to eat and laugh again. However when it was time to go, the boys had to be drugged to sleep so that they could be carried home.
When Namjoon woke up the next day, he searched everywhere for his younger brother. When he wasn't found Namjoon fell into despair and he ran away from him. He was only 4 and didn't know how to fend for himself. He doesn't remember, what he did but when a search party was sent out he was found unconscious on the riverbank.
He was hospitalised for a few weeks. During this time it was concluded that the boys could not seperated and the best way to keep then together was with Jingsu and Hangeoul. Namjoon was once again moved and he found himself with his right family - his brother Taehyung.
Soon the family moved to get a
fresh start and a promise was made between the brothers. Both of them claimed that if one was to get seperated from the other, they would have to look for them untill the other were found or until they died. This was a promise that was sealed in bad memories and unhappy moments. ....
This was the promise that Taehyung we refering to. He got so overcome with emotion when he was talking that he only spoke about the first half. The rest was finished by Namjoon. At the end of the story both brothers were in tears and wouldn't stop holding each other.
Namjoon buried his head in Taehyung's shoulder and repeated the same words over and over again. - "Forgive me... Forgive me... please Taehyung... Forgive me".
