I Fell In Love With The Prince

Prologue

     She smiled while looking at the Television, as the Royal Family stood in the balcony as one waving their hand to the nation. Smilling so wide that people from down below and far at home can see how white their teeth are. The King and Queen are in the middle of it all, accompanied by their family beside them, all good looking. Eventually, only one who caught her attention this whole time. she didn't care about the King or the Queen, why would she? she just cared about the handsome young prince, same old as she is, smiling and waving next to his mother, Prince William. 

"Oi! stop daydreaming would ya? rather you do your chores now than sitting there in front of the bloody damn telly without any purpose! I work hard day and night for you to eat three times a day and you wouldn't even help me with chores?" A scream woke her up from her imagination of the prince, 

"oh come on mama! I was just watching the Royal Family! they are indeed the leaders of our country and most definitely our lives!" finally Athena replied in her 15-year-old head still imagining her beloved prince.

"Leaders, you say? here me out kid, they do not care about you nor I, they only care about themselves! Think of it yourself, if they care about us we won't be living in this dump hell of a house!" Athena's mom said pointing their house - a small one bedroom cottage with no kitchen and bathroom, it's a small as that they can barely move in that tiny house, due to its size and their belongings. Located 10 KM from the city, surrounded by nothing, in the middle of the woods- 

"All they care is about their expensive jewelry and fancy lifestyle while we suffer here every single day praying that there will be a miracle to come the next day. Now, get your ass up that chair and go outside and fetch me some woods, it's going to be cold tonight" Athena's mom babbled and left Athena to go fold the laundries. 

Athena huffed and went outside stomping her leg

"That is not true! The Royal Family are amazing people, if they are not amazing people than why are they the Royal Family? god chose them for a reason" Athena mumbled to herself while grabbing some firewood. 

While her hands were starting to get full of firewood, something caught her eye. it was a dandelion! her favorite flower of all time! she ran to it and dropped all of her firewood and took the dandelion of the ground, she then closed her eyes and make a wish, whispering it as she held the dandelion tight, 

"One day, just one day, Prince William will know my name and I will tell mama, ' I told you so!'" 

Athena was just a naive teenager, wanting to believe what the real world couldn't give her, or can it?
