Chapter 1
Tammy's POV
I drag myself out of bed. My curly brown hair is every where. I go into the bathroom to brush it and attempt to tame the beast. After looking into the hazel eyes of the girl in the black tanktop and Aeropostale yoga pants I walk back to my room. I remind myself I need to hurry. Today is the first day of school. I pick out my outfit. Black leggings, a short frilly skirt, a colorful t-shirt, and a jean jacket to top it all off. I walk downstairs, walk to our pantry and pull out a box of Fruit Loops. I pour my cereal and some milk. Right as I start eating my twin sister, Tally, walks downstairs. It's clear she hasn't brushed her hair or gotten dressed.
"Why are you up so early?" She half yawns half says. I guess she forgot today was the first day of school.
"Um," I start "Tally are you forgetting what day it is?"
"Uh."
"Today is the first day of school Tally!"
"Oh my gosh! I totally forgot!" She exclaims. She runs into her room to grab a random outfit from her closet. She comes out wearing baggy khaki pants, a Michigan sweatshirt, and really ugly shoes.
"Um, did you even look at what you're wearing?" I ask.
"Yeah, why?"
"No offense, but you look hideous!" I yell.
"Thanks. It gets your attention right?" she asks.
"Heck yeah it does! Wait a second, are you trying to get a boy's attention?" I ask. She tries to ignore the question.
"You are! I bet it's that guy you've been talking about all summer. What's his name? Oliver? Ya, I think that's it. Don't worry. I won't tell anyone. Except Oliver!" I say. I run into the living room and hide so Tally won't tackle me.
"Tammy! Come out of hiding! I'm not trying to tackle you this time! I need help..." she can't say the next part.
"I need help with..." she can't say it because she's never asked me for help. It's fun to hear her struggle with the words.
"I need you to help me get his attention!" she yells. I start laughing and I get up and go to my room. She follows me there and when I open the door to my room, she flips. She's never really been inside my room before and she was really surprised.
"Whoa! This is awesome!" she says.
"Don't touch anything." I say.
"It's so hard though! Your room is so cool!" she says.
"Just don't touch anything!" I yell. I pick out a cute outfit made up of , dark wash skinny jeans, some black high top converse, and a tank top with a see through flannel over it. I straighten her hair and give her a beanie. She looks really pretty and I have a feeling Oliver is going to like it.
When we get to school, everyone could tell me and Tally were twins. No one fully believed it until today.
"Girl! Now you and Tally look twins!" my friend Amanda says.
"Yep. She just decided to change because..." I'm about to say who her crush is but I don't. I look at Tally and she gives me the okay signal.
"Because what?"
"Because I told her that if she wants attention she should dress more like me." I say.
"Nice! So why does she want attention?" Amanda asks.
"You can't tell anyone Mandy. Okay?" I say.
"Okay." she says.
"To get a guy's attention. I can't say which guy though." Tally says.
