You wished you could sink them with your gaze as you watched the Dornish ships slowly sliding into the bay.

You were Tywin Lannister's daughter and even though you've been born from his second marriage he loved you just as much as he loved all of his children. Well, except one of course. But with this, with this decision, he ruined your life for good. The Martells have their reasons for their hatred towards your house yet, your father was ready to throw you into the snakepit.

"You'll be fine, sweetheart." Cersei consolated you as she stepped behind you at the window, sipping her wine and throwing a scornful glance to the bay before lingering her softest one upon your face.

"It's not as bad as you think." She cooed, racking a gentle finger throw your hair. Albeit you were all different, she was your best friend, your sister. She was the single most caring person in your life.

"Myrcella loves being there."

"I should run away. Left King's Landing and hide somewhere. You could help me, Cersei. Would you?"

"Don't be silly." She said putting down her goblet and frame your wet cheeks with her hands. She was always so confident, unlike you.

"I'll make sure you'll be in good hands, I promise." Her steady voice stilled your heart and provoked a little smile onto your lips. Because when Cersei promised something she would make it come true.

The gardens were your most favorite place in King's Landing. You loved sitting in the sun, listening to the birds and reading books in the shadows of the great trees. But the best thing about being there was when you left the passages and find the hidden beauties of the gardens.

You knew you ought to be in the castle with the guests but you weren't ready to face your future husband. You wished you would never have to meet him or at least you could just hide here for a while, enjoying being alone.

You were sitting on the rim of a small, abandoned fountain. Plants and roots laced the rocks and the water was deep and dark, still so clear you could see the small fishes and frogs on the bottom of it. It was the most peaceful place in your world counter to the one inside your soul which was now disturbed with the thoughts of your future in Dorne. You gave way to your tears and let them wash away the despair from your system.

"What have I just found here?" The raspy voice like lightning bolt ran through your body, causing you to jump a little. You didn't expect anyone at the long forgotten fountain.

As you turned, you saw a tall, dark man covered in light, delicate clothes. He must have come with the ships. The man approached you without any hesitations in his moves which frightened you so much you rose from the rim of the fountain and took a step aback.

"Don't you know how inappropriate is to sneak behind a lady like this?" You scolded him, wiping tears from your cheeks.

"I beg your pardon, M'lady. I heard someone sobbing and I thought..."

"You thought it would be funny to frighten her to death?!"

"That wasn't my intention." He said with a heavy accent and a smirk that you found surprisingly attractive. "I just wanted to make sure you're fine."

"Well, I was fine until now." You snapped nervously, but his smirk didn't fade a shade. Moreover, it grew wider making you feel even more uncomfortable.

"Again, I apologize. I'll take my leave but if I can help..." He said striding closer and closer that forced you ever backward.

Unfortunately, there was a small rock under your step. You lost control over your body and fell against the rim and almost into the water if only two strong arms wouldn't grip and pull you flush against a hard chest.
