3 months passed and I've grown closer to Jeff, of course, and especially David actually. Like I've been a lot with all of the guys and Corinna. Going out almost every weekend but still a lot of work. Jeff and I are still not a couple and just acting like a couple, I don't know what he wants but when he puts feelings into it that's when I do as well.
" Hey, Scott " I waved to him as I entered their house. I've been talking more and more to Kristen and Liza, but we're still not best friends which I don't expect us to be ever.
" What's up Annie ?" He welcomed me with a hug and a little shake. I laughed and sat down in the couch next to Jeff who put his hand on my lap.
" So when did you guys start dating ?" Liza asked as she sat on Davids lap.
" Oh we're not dating " I chuckled a little bit and so did Jeff.
" We're just friends " He said just as I put my hand on his. I looked down at it and smiled, I knew I I liked him but, I don't know why, we actually just keep away from labels.
" Well, it doesn't look like that " David mentioned and pointed his camera at our hands intertwined in my lap. I laughed and let go of his hand and he pulled me by my shoulder into his chest. People started laughing as I blushed. Everybody knew we liked each other and nobody knew why we didn't call each other girlfriend and boyfriend yet.
" So anybody going out tonight, I haven't been shitfaced in a while " I asked and everybody laughed as I was drunk less than a week ago.
" I think we were planning on a movie night tonight actually " David mentioned and looked around at everybody. Everybody nodded and cuddled into their different partners, so did I with Jeff.
" NO DONT DO IT " Zane was screaming at the movie we were watching. I looked up at Jeff who were sleeping as he had been up hiking since 5 am, it was only like 9 pm but he was still tired. Everybody got a scare when my phone rang, I wondered who would call at this time?
" Hey what's up ?" I said as I saw it was my boss from work. I walked out of the living room where everybody was tangled up.
" Hey I need you to come in right away, Kanye west just walked in here, and there's a rumor that he is looking for new talent, he has his producer with him " She almost yelled and I screamed in happiness.
" ARE YOU SERIOUS? AND YOU WANT ME TO WORK ?" I asked her while jumping up and down. I mean KANYE FREAKING WEST. I knew our restaurant was rather popular.
" I'll be there in 10 minutes " I said and hung up. I walked into the living room again just to kiss Jeff goodbye. Everybody looked at me as they probably heard me scream.
" Hey I just got called to work, there is a big producer who just sat down at a table and they want me to cover a shift " I quickly mentioned and kissed the sleeping Jeff on the cheek as I ran out the door.
" You can have the solo in 'raining men' at 9:30, that's in 10 minutes if you're ready? Then you can have the 'Pretty woman' at 10:30 and then maybe one more at midnight " My boss told me as I was getting into the costume for raining men. We were a couple of girls that had that often, it was just raincoats and umbrellas we used for the costume then we danced around in it!
The music for raining men started and the light was lowered. People turned to the main stage and everybody clapped.
" Hi we're your weather girls, and have we got new for you " One of the girls said as the intro and pointed her umbrella at the middle of the stage where the other girls and I stood posed to start.
Hearing the people in the restaurant cheer and clap was a special feeling. I couldn't describe it but I always wanted to smile forever.
" This was the weather girls here from Sing Along, Annie Hansen as solo " The stage manager told the audience as I bowed. I went down to the kitchen to change into the server clothes again. As soon as I was changed I got two plates and a couple og salad bowls to send to the table with Kanye and his team. I was so happy that the team in the restaurant believes in me like this.
" Hey sir, I have a salad with crab and lobster " I said and a guy raised his hand. As I passed over the salad I saw that Kanye was looking at me.
" You know, you're really talented miss " He suddenly said. I felt my face getting warmer.
" Thank you very much, I appreciate that sir " I mentioned and gave everybody else their food.
" Anything else I can get you, more drinks ?"I asked and took my note pad and pen to be ready to write. They talked a bit and ended up ordering a few more drinks.
" Hey miss, you wouldn't happen to be interested in singing for a career, would you ?" An older guy asked me and Kanye seemed to follow this conversation.
" I've been sining my whole life that would be the absolute dream sir " I replied to him. He put his hand in his pocket and pulled out a card with his name and number.
" You've got that thing everybody wants to see " Kanye said and the guy who was called William agreed.
" Thank you so much, that means a lot to me " I thanked them and they actually shook my hand.
" I hope you had a great time here tonight " I said to them and followed them up to the counter to pay.
" We sure had, I'll give you 20% tips " He said and I corrected the price.
" Again thank you so much for that. It's a big help " I mentioned and said bye to them. I went to the kitchen and everybody was waiting for me.
" I GOT HIS NUMBER AND CARD " I screamed and everybody cheered.
" You did so good tonight, just go home now, you'll still get payed for the rest of the night " My boss said and I hugged her.
" Thank you for this opportunity " I said and beeped out.
As I opened the garage door and pulled into the garage I saw Jeffs car was parked there. I smiled, I missed him. I sat in my car for a while just to relax. I just met Kanye West and he said I had talent. That was crazy. My phone rang and it kind of scared me.
" Hey, it's Annie " I said without looking at who it was.
" Hey baby, how was work ?" Zane said, I laughed at his girly voice.
" I got his number and he said he wanted to see me soon, I'm probably going to call him tomorrow, it is pretty late now. Are you guys done watching that movie ?" I asked him as I actually missed having good conversations with him.
" Oh you know how I was yelling that she shouldn't walk in there? Yeah she did it and got murdered, Jeff went to your house as soon as he heard you went to work so he is probably in there now, how is it going with the two of you ?" He asked.
" Yeah, don't really know about that, I think he's scared of commitment. I don't know what he wants me to do, because I want to call him my boyfriend and I want to feel like he wants to call me his girlfriend " I told him, I really wanted him to be my boyfriend, but I didn't want to push him into something he doesn't like.
" Annie, everybody here loves you even Jeff, especially Jeff, you're like the sweet disaster to everybody in here, you brought in so much fun trouble " he said and I've never felt more appreciated.
