Chapter 5

3 Weeks Later

I smile at Mangle and blush when she smiles back. We had started dating one and a half weeks ago, and I still wasn't used to the idea that she was my girlfriend. Toy Chica had been keeping her distance from me, only talking to me on occasion. Toy Freddy and Toy Bonnie had gotten married, and we had congratulated them. Now they had 3 kids and had grown fond of Mangle and my relationship. Every so often, Toy Bonnie would come up to me and tell me how nice Mangle had been, and how cute of a couple we were. I would always smile and say thanks, and it warmed my heart to hear her say that. I was thinking of proposing to her next week and had already bought the ring. It was beautiful, just like it's rightful wearer was. It was in my pocket, but as I was walking to the restaurant, Toy Chica walked over and hooked her arm around mine. "Hey, how's Mangle doing?" she asked me. I smiled. "She's doing good. Don't tell anyone, but," I lean in close to her ear and whisper, "I'm thinking of proposing to her tomorrow." "Oh Foxy, that's wonderful." I beam down at her. Unfortunately, that's when Mangle comes out of the doors of the restaurant to see what's taking me so long. To her, it must look like I'm cheating on her. That must be what she sees because she gasps and runs into an alleyway, and I hear her yelp. "SHIT!" I yell as I quickly unweave my arm from Toy Chica's and run over to the alleyway, where I see Springtrap cornering Mangle and laughing like a maniac. I bolt over in front of Mangle. "Leave her alone!!!" I yell at him, and he throws a punch. Mangle is on the floor, and I duck, before delivering a blow to his gut. I grab his shirt and look him square in the eyes. In them, I see everything evil in the world, and I start beating him. After I'm done, he is bloody and bruised, and Mangle is safe and sound. She runs over to me and embraces me. I embrace her back and whisper, "I will protect you no matter what, I promise," into her ear. I then pick her up and carry her home. That night, we sit under the stars and I hold in my arms for the longest I've ever held her.
