It's been a week since Shockwave left. Nothing important happened. I mostly kept myself busy taking care of some responsibilities I had. The nurse was well and back at the school, so I could use her as an excuse to be late for class (she knew about and helped me avoid Ryder.)
Speaking of responsibilities, the kid that stayed in the office last week had died. Someone, probably the same person that did it to him, had snuck past Ghost's demonic scouts and killed the kid. His full body was missing but there was a lot of blood, too much to have any chance of survival.
Limbs were scattered all over. Not full limbs but parts. Torn flesh, something that briefly resembled a foot (it had been so chewed up, there's no guarantee) and parts of his face. An eye lay on the ground, likely yanked out, as well as part of an ear. The scene made me sick before I even saw it, as it smelt horrible and I had fled quickly, unable to return for at least a day.
Then there's Ryder. Since he realized Shockwave wasn't coming back anytime soon, he became bolder. He took over the school quite fast and most feared him since hearing what he can do. Unlike the rest of us hiding our abilities, he took full advantage of the chance to scare people. I got the worst of his acts. I dread going to school and I had to start wearing sweaters to hide my wounds.
