In every class there's at least one person isn't who they actually are, they're wearing a mask, acting different.
You may or may not notice, they may or may not be good actors.
The people who know what they might be going through, who act, who wear a mask, they are the ones that tend to see these things.
But they don't say.
They fear that they will be rejected, that they'll say they don't understand.
And they might not.
But they just want to know that they can listen, they want to listen and just offer possible advice.
They can't stand the look in their eyes, knowing they were the ones that can envision themselves still having that same look.
They don't want them to hurt anymore, they try to reach out.
But they don't want them to know that they recognized the look.
That they aren't feeling good either.
Sick and tired of whatever is going on that day.
I know a couple people like this
But I don't dare to say
Don't dare to break their act
When others are there
You want them to know you're there
Without telling them
Without fearing that it might be seen as weird
You want to help them
Really
But you don't know how
So this is a way I suppose
If you feel like you need to act to keep up with everyone
Message me
My inbox will be open
I want to help you
Or at least try to
And listen
So go ahead
Type out a message
And take off the mask
There's at least one person who can see past it
That cares
That wants to help
You just need to find the right one
And have the courage to talk to them
Not everyone will think that you are overreacting
Some will
Most people who really care don't
We all want to be happy
Only this is harder for some people than it is for others
They don't want to be feeling how they are
But they can't seem to change it
They don't want help
In case they look weak
I try to help but I don't know how sometimes
As they don't want to talk
Please just talk to someone you trust, they'll listen, if not talk to me, I'll be here
