It's a cold winter day, my birthday, December 1st.
" Happy birthday Alex, your finally 17, " shouts my older brother Jake as he barges into my room without permission.
" Thanks, I guess, " I say quietly.
See, I'm not the loud one, the one with girls falling over him, the one into drinking, the one into fights and trouble, or the one who always parties, I'm the quiet, calm, introverted one.
Since I'm not doing anything, I go outside to our small backyard & sit down on our rocking chair. I take a look at the backyard, Trees covered in snow, the ground covered in snow, everything covered in snow.
What a nice view here I joke to myself.
I wonder what she's doing..
She is Sophia, the perfect brown hair, blue eyes, Barbie doll girl. Everybody likes her , but only one person keeps her, my brother .
" Hey Alex, come inside , there's a package for you, " shouts Jake.
" k. "
As I enter the warm, smoke smelling house , I see a black package with the letters
A-L-E-X on it. I take it and head upstairs to my room.
Probably just a birthday card , I think to myself as I open the strange package and inside I find a card..
