Intro

         Thumping. That's the only thing she hears. The thumping of her heart radiates across her body, consuming her. She stands on the edge, her sneakers peaking over the cement roof. She smiles, tears rolling down her cheeks as she looks down. Everyone is walking along like little ants, trying to make it through their boring days in their boring lives. There isn't one spark of excitement in the world to the girl, nothing that keeps her going. But she isn't worried. She is alive. The wind whips her hair around her face, the sun beats down on the crown of her head as if it is trying to stop her. But it couldn't, for this girl is long gone with no hope for recovery. She takes a deep breath and glances around. No one is there to stop her. No one cares. So what happens to the world when a girl jumps to her death. Does it stop? No. It keeps going. The world keeps spinning and moving, with no intent in stopping for a nobody who fell in love with the wrong person. A nobody who wants to end her life, but wants to live it. Why does she hesitate? Her pain and suffering can come to an end when she hits the concrete side walk below her. But she can move past her mistakes to find a better future. The girl tries to climb back down. Instead, she falls.
