His gaze caused me to turn dark pink in the cheeks. His eyes seemed to twinkle and his smile...well, there are no words to describe how amazing he looked. I wanted him, but I couldn't have him. I directed my sight to the serene ocean behind him, breaking our long stare. The water was so beautiful; it was blue-green, and the waves satisfied every bit of me. But not as much is he did.
"Oh, Nova," he said, caressing my cheek. "I love you." I was eager to let the words escape from me, "I love you, too." but they were stuck. He began to fade away...where was he going? Why was he leaving me? The ocean darkened and a storm quickly came, faster than it ever could logically. I was left alone on the beach, a storm raging overhead. Nobody fled the areas near me. Why? Because nobody else was there. The boy I loved and who I thought loved me back left me here.
But then I woke up.
