Too Much

She's dreaming of being in that spotlight

Thinking she's moving too slow for the fast life

So she's posting pics exposing herself just for likes

Not knowing what it's doing to her mind-set

If anyone tells her anything she gets upset

So, she does it even more

Just for

A rebellious image

She's blinded by all the attention she's getting

Losing her friends just for a couple of comments

Telling herself, it's not her, it's them

They're just jealous

Not knowing the monster she's becoming

Losing it all just for a taste of the fame

Going home and things ain't the same

Her family giving her the cold shoulder because she'd ignore them when they'd call her

Just to say hi

She goes into the bathroom to hide

Looks into the mirror at her reflection and she doesn't recognize those eyes looking back

Hard to see with all that

Eyeliner and mascara

Thinking to herself

“you went from a young entrepreneur, to not knowing who you are anymore"

Hating herself more than she ever did before

Wearing long sleeves to hide the cuts on her arms

Trying to drown away her pain with beer after beer

Pill after pill

You know the deal

She's just trying to feel, again
