Simple features and a thin defenseless body. Na Jaemin's first impression of Huang Renjun was that he looked like a withered tree that had lost it's colour. And for that same reason, he was someone that interested him.

"Na jaemin, today in P.E, we will be running laps around the lake. Inform everyone"
Renjun said, not looking up at jaemin at all, making the latter feel, somewhat, rejected.
"Okay, thank you, Renjun"
Renjun turned to leave but a couple of students approached them.
"Oi, the little brother Renjun!"
One of them called out to Renjun, making him halt.
".....so annoying, shut up!"
The boy replied before sprinting down the hallway.
" Renjun might be a simpleton but his brother's really handsome"
Didn't ask but okay.
"Really? Wow"
Jaemin felt sorry for him but he has nothing to do with that. Maybe that's why Renjun hides his face.

The students were running laps around the lake in the blazing sun. It was the 5th lap and fit students were jogging with ease but students, like Renjun, were already panting. Jaemin caught up with Renjun and curiosity was eating him alive. He wanted know what the boy looked like up close.
"Hey, Renjun"
"..."
"Renjun?"
"..."
"Are you seriously ignoring me right now? Huang Renjun!"
"What is it? What do you want!?"
The smaller boy finally replied.
"Can you turn around and show me your face-"
"No"
Jaemin's face went from a grin to a pout. He didn't have to see the boy's face but the little voice inside his head was telling him it would be worth it. So, he had no choice but to fake it.
"ugh!"
Jaemin groaned as he fake collapsed and fell onto his knees. Catching Renjun's attention as he did so.
"Hey! What's wrong!?"
Renjun turned around with worry in his voice.
"I think I have heat stroke"
Jaemin said as he dramatically reached his hand out towards Renjun.
"Save me, Renjun. I'm dying"
Renjun kneeled down and panic was forming on his face.
"Are you serious!?"
The smaller boy clutched the "dying" boy's head and placed it in his lap.
"what should I do? Oh my god"
This was when Jaemin realized his act was going too far and that Renjun was really simple-minded.
"Na Jaemin, don't die. You can't die!"
Sweaty palms and shaky breathing.....
"I was just kiddi-"
....fluttering wet eyelashes, brown almond shaped eyes and flushed cheeks.
"I see, don't scare me like that"
Renjun quickly stood up and hid his face again.
"Hey, what's wrong!?"
The coach approached them and Renjun continued with his laps after muttering a small "nothing".
"Geez, what's up with him? Hey, Na, you good?"
Jaemin placed his hand on his thumping heart.
"I didn't know Renjun was this cute. I almost threw myself at him"
"Huh?"
Everything about Renjun has become clear inside of Jaemin and that was the moment Na Jaemin's world began to revolve around Huang Renjun.
