Once upon a time, there was a war. The people in this war felt like puppets with their delicate strings being pulled. But there was one boy who helped everyone have hope his name was Cynwrig. Cynwrig was forced to stay in his family's basement he had to stay there for fear a nuke would turn everything above ground into a wasteland. People would become mutant beasts and attack them. It was the fourth year of being in the basement Cynwrig was now wondering if the war was over. Then one night while his parents were sleeping Cynwrig went outside just to take a peek. The world was gray and dull exactly like Cynwrig imagined then Cynwrig saw a dog he went back into the basement to get the gas mask. Then he came out of the basement and went to the dog... it was his dog laying on the ground twitching Cynwrig's eyes started to fill up with tears he knelt down beside his dog "come on wake up pl-please" Cynwrig said through his sobs "Please *sob* please wake up" Cynwrig's sobs echoed throughout the wasteland. The dog opened one eye then the dog weakly ruffed. Cynwrig was crying tears of joy using all his strength he picked up his dog and carried him to the basement. Cynwrig's mother woke up and said "wh-what's that" Then Cynwrig said "It's Cookie our old dog" Cynwrig's father woke up and yelled "WHAT!?" his father's words echoing throughout the wasteland.
