????? First POV
There's no escape for me... No one is coming for me.. No one cares for me... I'm stuck here with nothing but Darkness and a evil snake. These thoughts came swirling inside my mind as I'm locked up in a cage like an animal, is there truly any way for me to be saved from this cruel world? Should I welcome death because it would be a blessing compared to being tortured in this hell hole that they now refer to as my 'new home' this isn't my home but yet... My real home has forsaken me.. I'm no longer needed in this world.
"Hello~, my dear little experiment. Today is your lucky day! You get to rest while I'm gone.. I'll be back soon though~ Just. For. YOU! Hahahahaha!" A cold chill went down my spine as he said all that like it was a game, or a game of chess where he can control each piece.. That's how he views everyone here.. pawns is what we all are to him. I refuse to talk to anyone, I don't know if there is anyone who I can trust inside these walls or outside them, who is good or bad? This may sound naive to some but its a truthful question that I wonder to myself now'a'days, I've been missing from my home for so long that I feel disheartened about ever escaping this nightmare that I'm trapped in - its a genjutsu I once told myself but even that was a lie to escape the truth of it all.. Reality is far more crueler then we give it credit for..
I heard fighting in the background but no where near my location. "Is there someone here..? Will I be rescued?" I thought out loud hoping for a miracle.
I slammed my body against the cage that I'm currently stuck inside hoping to make noise for those who are close by will help me or at least know there is someone alive near by.
"It's foolish of you to try and get them to come towards you, Josie Sonozaki~" A voice from beside me said in a teasingly voice, "K-kabuto..!" I shook in fear knowing he could easily have me punished for trying to warn the intruders of any survivors or for trying to attempt at my once chance of escape. His smile sent shivers down my spine as grabbed my by my hair slamming my face against the cage "Try it again.. and I'll.. Do something you'll never recover from, after all..." He started licking his lips and whispered something into her ear "You couldn't stop me.. Hehehe..!" He whispered that last part into my ear which caused me to fall down after he let go of my hair shivering and shaking at what he might do to me if I try to break out again..
Seconds felt like minutes as minutes felt like hours... The intruders haven't been caught and Kabuto left to go handle them personally. Time has traveled so slow for me that I feel alone and like I rather die more than ever now.. that was until I saw a blonde girl run past me that's when I shouted, cried, begged for her to come back "Please! COME.. BACK..!! HELP ME. SAVE ME!" Tears were falling down my cheek when someone else stopped by my cage it was a Girl with Ravenette Hair going down her back, she easily broke the cage and grabbed me by my wrist but unexpectedly lifted me up bridal-style..
Sasuko Uchiha First POV
As I held her bridal style I couldn't help but look at her teary face. That dobe seriously couldn't hear her, really?! She'll get a scolding from me later.. "Don't worry. Things will be okay now.." I say while mumbling but she seemed to heard me when she nodded her against against my chest area "Everyone its time to retreat!" Our Sensei said, Naruko must have heard because she came running right back.
After getting out of the hideout I was still carrying this unknown girl whose name I still do not know "What's your name?" Everyone around started crowding me "Josie. Josie Sonozaki." Such a beautiful name...
Sakura, Naruko and myself were letting the girl walk on her own while Kakuri Sensei (Female Kakashi) was telling her she'll be safe at the Hidden Leaf Village and that she can start anew. Upon arrival we took her to the hospital where we we're eventually told of her many bruises and scars on her body that would tale a long time to recover from Orochimaru's Experiments - thus lead us to report our findings to Lord Third.
"So.. Orochimaru did all that to a poor innocent girl... I'm ashamed. It does seem she could be a capable ninja if she would like to become one." We all nodded in understanding, "I'll ask her first thing in the morning Hokage." Naruko shouted at me saying, "What?! When do you do anything nice?!" I swung my foot and hit her right in the head which she started crying while holding her lump as I scowled at her for making me seem weak.
(Switching back to Josie Sonozaki's POV, Next Morning..)
I awoke to a bright sun shining down upon my through a white room? Oh, right... I was rescued. I'm free.. hahaha, I'm free! Happiness is rushing through me as I look around the room with a smile crossing my lips. I heard the door slide open and here came the Ravenette from yesterday. I finally ask her for her name and she said, "Sasuko. Sasuko Uchiha." she said with a slight smirk, I smiled brightly at her which seemed to have caused a pink tint to form around her cheeks "A-anyway.. Would you like to become a Ninja? Our Hokage wanted to know if you'd want to become one in this Village?" I nodded my head furiously which she chuckled at, Let's get you signed out then." That's exactly what we both did, and walked out.
The Hokage gave me a Genin Headband and I placed it around my neck with a huge grin plastered on my face.. "Thank you, thank you all! You're my light!"
