Surgery

"Hey there Molly, ready to go to beat the monster inside your head with Dr.Monteith?" I asked walking in the room and the family and Molly smiled to me. 

"I'm sooo ready. When I get out of here I will tell to all my friends from school that me and Dr.Monteith beat up a monster." Molly said and I smiled.

"But remember what we discussed earlier, right? After the fight, you will have to rest a lot to recover cause is a strong monster. But you're stronger than him." I said smiling and she smiled back "We have deal right? You beat up that monster and rest a lot than you can go tell to all your friends for school. Okay?" I asked her and she nodded smiling.

Cory's POV

I stay outside just listening to the whole dialogue of Lea and Molly. Lea can be very bossy but she is different. And actually pretty good in her job, like amazing.

She is very gorgeous too but whatever. It's not like I am looking for a girlfriend or something. And of course like everyone else in this damn Hospital, she probably hate me. Cause I am pretty much of a jerk with everyone here. Whatever! I don't care about what people think about me, I know I am a jerk to everyone, but if I don't be harsh they will not try their best to do their job. So if I have to be the jerk for them work properly, I'm going to be the biggest jerk.

"Hey there princess! Ready to kick the monster's ass?" I said when I walk in the room and she smiled.

Lea's POV

"Super ready!" She said answering Dr.Monteith question. I really need to know his name cause Monteith is a big name.

"So let's do this!" He said smiling and raise his fist and she beat hers against his and I smiled. Somehow, for some odd reason, inside that coldness he is adorable with kids.

"Is Dr.Lea going to be there?" She asked and Dr.Monteith look at me waiting for an answer.

"I'm sorry Molly, but I have to be in another surgery while you are in yours. Help another kid to kick their monster's asses." I said and she looks a little bit sad but understood.

"But I want you there Dr.Lea." She whined and I smiled. "I'm going to get bored without you there."

"Do you like Disney Princesses?" I asked her and she nodded hard and quickly.

"DUH!" She yelled and I laughed.

"So just think that you are Princess Aurora. Instead of hurting your finger, you won't get hurt. You will just fall in a very deep sleep and wake up when everything is okay." I said and she smiled "Now a high five before you go to wish you good luck!" I said and we high five and the nurses take her gurney to the OR. I really want her to be fine.

"Monteith!" I called out and he turn around before walk in the OR corridor and I walk towards him.

"I will be in a surgery in the OR next to yours. If something goes wrong I wanna know, I want news. She is my patient too. And you better don't screw things up." I said to him.

"Chill, I won't bossy pants." He said and that made me laugh softly and roll my eyes playfully and I'm sure I saw a half smile on his face.

"I'm serious." I said.

"So am I." He said and winked, fucking hot, then walk in the corridor. Eventually, I go to my own OR cause I have a surgery to do.

——4 Hours Later

While I'm here operating the premature baby, yes a premature baby. I feel so bad when I have to operate a premature baby, their lives barely started, they didn't do anything to deserve that.

"Dr. Sarfati?" Someone said and I look up to see a nurse at the door.

"Kind of busy here." I said to her.

"I'm sorry, Dr.Monteith sent me here to tell that Molly Smith's surgery went well." She said and I sighed in relief.

"Thank you for telling me. Thank him too for telling." I said and turn my attention back to the baby in front of me. While I'm operating, I shut the world around me. It's me and the patient. Hours fly like minutes, I don't even feel it.

——March, 16th

After more 9 exhausting hours I finish the surgery, successfully, thanks God! It's 5am and I'm leaving the OR room. I take a shower and dress my usual clothes, a jeans with a sweater cause is a little bit cold outside, it's springs so the weather is still a little cold from winter but not that hot from summer, it's perfect.

"Coming or leaving?" Someone asked while I left the attendants room. I look up to see Dr.Monteith sitting on a gurney in the hallway. I was too distracted by my phone.

"Leaving, you?" I asked him.

"Got here an hour ago. Day starts early." He said and drink a sip of his coffee. "Or in your case, it finishes too late." He said and I chuckled.

"How was with Molly?" I asked him, I know that everything went well but I wanna hear it from him.

"That princess is a fighter." He said and I smiled and giggled a little.

"Have a nice day, Dr.Monteith." I said and started to leave.

"Cory." He said and I look back confused and he half smile, I must admit that his half smile is very charming.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Cory. Cory Monteith." He said and I smiled.

"Bye...Cory." I said smiling bitting my lip softly and he gave me another half smile. Maybe he isn't that jerk after all.

"Bye Lea." He said and I turn around and left but I can feel his sight burning on my back.
