Insta Story Part 3

Alexis walks into Mr. Damocles with Adrien before lunch starts, during passing period.

"Ms. Taylor, Mr. Agreste. To what do I owe the pleasure?" asks Mr. Damocles.

"Well, sir, I wanted to make a proposition to you about a thing to have at the school," Alexis says.

"Go on."

"I wanted to ask if the school could have a talent show."

"Everyone would sign up on a sheet what they perform and if they're singing or dancing they put the song on the sheet too," says Adrien.

"That sounds like a great idea. Let me talk to the teachers at our next meeting. It could be an annual spring event since spring is beginning."

"Thank you, sir," Alexis and Adrien say as they leave his office.

They five and walk to lunch with big smiles on their faces.

"Why are you two so happy?" asks Alya.

"We asked Mr. Damocles if the school could have a talent show," replies Alexis.

"That would be so sick, dudette," Nino exclaims.

"I know right," says Adrien.

"Hey Alexis, are you free after school today?" Marinette asks, "On Fridays, we all go to the park or one of our houses to hang since we have the weekend to do homework."

"Yeah I'm free right after school, but then I have gymnastics from five to seven," Alexis replies.

"That's okay. We normally all head home around eight. You can come for the first bit and the last hour," Marinette chirps.

"I'll text Scarl- I mean my mom I'll be home later. I walk to the gym anyway," Alexis says.

Marinette, Adrien, Alya, and Nino all catch Alexis' slip up, but decide to bring it up later. The bell rings and everyone heads back to class. After school Alexis walks to the park and sits on a bench. Alexis gets there before everyone else so she decides to make a call.

"Hey, Aunt Scarlett. I'm at the park. I'm meeting up with friends."

Marinette walks over to the park to slightly overhear Alexis on the phone.

"No, I haven't told them yet."

Marinette hides behind a tree and shamefully listens.

"What hasn't she told us? I get she's only known us a week, but."

"I will. At some point, I'll tell them. With you know my PTSD, it's really hard to talk about the fact that both my parents and all my siblings died."

"What?! PTSD? Her family's dead?" Marinette whisper yells.

Adrien walks up behind Marinette.

"Marinette, are you spying on Alexis?" Adrien asks.

Alya and Nino walk up to Adrien and Marinette.

"What are you- Are you spying on Alexis?" Alya asks.

"Yes, but before we go over there I need to tell you what I heard," Marinette says with a worried look on her face.

"Oh no. That's your 'really worried about someone' face. What did you hear?" asks Alya.

"Lower your voice. So I may have overheard that Alexis has PTSD and both her parents and all her siblings are dead. And remember when Alexis said at lunch 'I'll text Scarl- I mean my mom'? I heard her say 'Hey Aunt Scarlett'. I think she lives with her aunt."
