Stretching his arms out above his head Bakugo let out a grunt as his shoulder's let out a loud click. The papers had suddenly piled up when his coworkers had rushed to finish their work in time for the trip, causing there to suddenly become a large amount of documents to pile up on his desk. Looking over his shoulder he could see Mina, Kirishima and Midoriya all laughing happily in the break room as they waited for the coach to arrive. Picking up his phone he checked the time.

12:24

"The bus should have arrived by now" he grumbled to himself in irritation before pocketing the mobile and standing up. As if by some mysterious power of god Kaminari came bounding up the stairs to signal the arrival of their ride. The group of officers made their way down the stairs and packed themselves onto the coach. Bakugo grimaced when he lay back into the chair, his wet collar left a horrible cold feeling on his neck. A shadow fell over him and he looked up to see Kirishima smiling awkwardly down at him.

"Is this seat taken?" He asked timidly, pointing to the empty seat beside him. Bakugo shrugged before he went back to looking out of the window. Now most people would have left but Kirishima isn't 'most people'. With a grin on his face Kirishima thanked him and sat down, making himself comfortable.

Bakugo simply grunted in acknowledgement and put his earbuds in, he didn't want Kirishima talking to him. Switching on his music he flipped to a random playlist and leaned back into his chair. Smiling to himself he hummed along to the song as it came on.

As he cycled through the playlist one of his personal favourites came on and without realising he had started to sing along. "Beware beware, be sceptical. For their smiles, their smiles are painted gold." Just as Bakugo was getting to the chores he felt a tap on his shoulder.

"What?!" He demanded, annoyed that he had to stop listening. Kirishima looked a little scared and backed off a little.

"It's nothing Bakugo, it's just that we're gonna be there soon and I wanted to tell you so you could pack your bag." Bakugo grunted in thanks and started to put his phone back into his bag but froze at his coworker's next comment.

"You have a really nice voice by the way Bakugo, you could have become an idol with that and your face." Bakugo could feel his ears turning pink from the sudden and unexpected compliment. He violently shoved his phone into his bag and turned away so that his face wouldn't give him away.

"Shut up shitty hair." He grumbled, but it lacked its usual malice. Kirishima simply laughed at his comeback.

"Oh yeah, your fans wouldn't like that attidtude all the time would they." Bakugo shot him a glare which only made him laugh harder. As he was about to respond with something equally as pointless their coach stopped and Cheif Aizawa stood up and announced their arrival.

Dabi sat at the edge of his bed tapping his foot and twiddling his thumbs. He watched as the time ticked by. He prayed to whatever god was out there that they wouldn't get the signal, that he wouldn't have to test his loyalty against his love. He watched as the hands on the clock reached 8pm. Good if there was no message then they wo-

Dabi's extreme concentration caused him to jump at the simple sound of his phone receiving a text. 'Pleasenothandjob, pleasenothandjob, pleasenothandjob..... Well shit..' Dabi read the message and cursed the gods that had ignored his pleas. The plan was a go and he had been given the main part.

"Let's hope that Bakugo does as he's told." He muttered to himself as he grabbed his coat, unlocking his door he made sure that everything was in place before locking it behind him as he left. He met with the others in the living room and Kurogiri sent them off. Just before they landed he put on his mask, he didn't want to be recognised here of all places.
