PilotMom had told many times to never go so far away from her sight, but as a child I was stubborn and had decided to go off course. This decision had cost me everything as I was pulled into a world full of misery and disasters. I was in the middle of a deadly massacre. I remembered vividly how I got here. I crossed the line. The line to where monsters lie. I could vividly recall the first one I had met. It had large sharp canine teeth, blood-red eyes which filled with hatred and yet as it came close I felt no fear. I let it come close and touched its soft black fur that would blend into the cold night. I stared into its eyes and into the darkness, yet I saw a soul within them waiting for someone to see them for who that truly were. What they were was something I never knew.
As I got up on my feet I felt the ground below me. It felt different and new. I watched as the Alvorian creature stood on its feet and walked into the forest and as it did it glanced back every once and a while beckoning me to follow it deeper to where thousands of uncertain possibilities lie. Heading into a clearing I could see a stream flowing steadily. It had a rhythm which was soon torn by the thumps that had the ground shaking. The serenity of the stream had been lost, however what came was something I was worried about. It was enormous, had elongated teeth , sharp claws and its eyes were black. It let out a warning growl which trembled the whole ground. Waking up from its slumber, the beast I had met before leaped onto it and bit it right by its neck. The creature let out a cry and shook its body throwing the beast off of his neck. By now the screams and whimpers could be heard for miles and a plethora of creatures had come to see the brawl that was happening. Clustered between them, I stood and watched them clash. Each strike harder than the other.
When it was all over the bright green grass had turned black tainted with blood. The beast I had met was still standing. The other had fallen. Just as the creatures were about to leave, the beast had gone on a rampage. It started to bite and destroy everything in its path. Leaving more wreckage and dead bodies. Feeling sick I closed my eyes and took a breath.
After moments of painful screams, it all went quiet. I opened my eyes to see the beast walking straight to me. I knew that there was no escape. No way to leave this blissful forest. I was here to stay and it knows it.
