Meeting a old friend

I hate what happened to me when I was laying on that table. I haf to fight for my life on daily bases.

"Doc leave her out but put the sheet over her face."

Doc nodded and I left. I walked out of James office and headed to mine. When I got to my office Anakha was already there. She stood up once she saw me.

"It's been such a long time friend."

"It has been but how is she doing, my daughter?"

I gave a sly nervous look. "Here me out I'll let you look at her but first I have to you something. Someone was following her I don't know who but she had red marks on her stomachs indicating that she was escaping from someone. She must have been holding her stomache while running away from something. Her throat is bruised from the lack of oxygen but she was well fed which means the killer had plans for her.

"Yes it is just a theory that she was being stalked but I have a strong feeling that she was."

"Was? That's past tence WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BABY!?"

"I'm so sorry for your loss Anakha if I would have known your daughter was missing I would have searched everywhere."

"So your telling me that you weren't even looking for her!?"

I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE CASE TILL THIS MORNING ANOTHER DEPARTMENT HAD IT! " I took a deep breath in. "But I can put you mine at ease, she died fast so she didn't suffer. I wish I could've been there for her."

"Can I see her?"

"Yes I just have one question. Was your daughter acting strangely did anyone have a reason to kill her?"

"I don't know who would've killed her but she has been acting strange."

"How strange?"

"She's been tense and she's more guarded then usual."

"What do you mean?"

I got up and walked over to her and hugged her. "That wasn't anybody's fault then mine and don't blame yourself it's not your fault." I said through my tears.

I pulled back and led her into James room. I pulled back the sheet on the body.

She fell to her knees and sobbed loudly. She kept saying no and I'm sorry and I want to die. It made me cry to see her in so much pain she wanted to die. All of a sudden she got up and ran out the door and into an empty elevator. I chased after her but I wasn't fast enough the elevator was going up.

"I know where she is going she's going to try to kill herself." I mumbled. I ran up the stairs passing so many levels in about five minutes I was on the roof top. Anakha was about to jump and I ran towards. That's when she jumped. I screamed for her so loudly that my throat burned.

I was about to jump off to before James yanked on my wrist making me slam hard against his chest. No!!!! I kept screaming.

"Christina! Christina!"

"No Anakha!"

"STOP!!!!"

He let me go and I just stop. I told him, "cancel all of my appointments and things I had to do today and for a couple of months I'm on a leave until I can calm down. Christian will be head and you'll be his partner and the Doc, I'm sorry." After I said what needed to be said I walked away.
