"Good Morning Ms. Heart. How are you this morning?"

With my Gucci handbag dangling from my left arm, and my right hand removing my matching sunglasses, I strut my way into my office suite. My personal assistant, Elise, greets me with a wide, preppy grin, and more importantly, my beloved coffee.

I gratefully take my coffee from Elise, and continue towards my private office, with Elise in tow.

"I'm doing wonderful this morning Elise. How about yourself?"

I promised myself, that if I ever got a personal assistant, I would treat them as a friend and not a slave.

"I'm doing just fabulous this morning, Ms. Heart. Just wonderful."

I smile to myself, wondering how it was possible for someone to be so cheerful and full of life. Once I make it into my office, I place my handbag and glasses on my shiny glass desk. Still holding my coffee, I walk over to the floor-to-ceiling windows and stare out at the bustling city life below me. When I realize how far I am from the ground, it reminds me how far I've come. I started life out as a girl from a poor family that lived out in the middle of nowhere, to owning a fashion business in one of the biggest cities. I take in one last look of the amazing view that is ahead of me, before turning back around to face Elise.

I strut over to my desk and take a seat in the big, plush chair. Opening one of the desk drawers, I make my way through the precisely organized files I have. Being well organized is a must for any successful businesswoman, like myself. Pulling out a crisp piece of paper, I hand it over to Elise. On the paper is the list of tasks that need to be done today. She gleefully takes the paper from my manicured hands, and goes to her desk, just outside my office door. I chuckle to myself and shake my head as I prepare myself for a hard day's work.

"Elise?"

"Elise?"

After no response, I finally get up and make my way out of my office to see Elise. It was getting close to three o'clock, and neither one of us have had our lunch break yet. Opening the pristine door, I peek around the corner expecting to see Elise. She wasn't there though, however like always, she left a note on her desk to let me know she had simply gone to the bathroom. I was going to ask if she wanted to run to the Italian restaurant across the street for us to have for lunch. However, there's nothing wrong with doing it myself.

I walk back into my office to grab my handbag and sunglasses. I leave a note on Elise's desk to let her know that I was going to get our usual meals from the restaurant and that I would be back shortly.

I quickly made my way over to the elevator and pushed the glossy button to call the elevator up to me. A little ding is heard, as the elevator doors open. Walking in, I press the first-floor button. It's quite the ride from the 12th floor. The ride makes it seem like my precious lunch is that much further from me. I can't wait to dig into my wonderful dish. Don't get me wrong, I love proper etiquette and manners, but that doesn't mean I can't love food. Another little ding is heard, as I reach my destination.

Pushing my way through the glass doors, I make my way outside. I take a few steps accepting the warm summer air. As I go to put my sunglasses on, I felt a hard force hit me. I land on the ground with an "oof" and watch as my handbag and sunglasses skid across the pavement.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I was backing up and didn't take time to look behind me. Are you alright?"

I look up and see a rough hand stretched out in front of me. I grab his hand and he pulls me up. As I come to my full height, I am looking at his chest. The sleeves of his short sleeve shirt, drenched in sweat, are rolled up to his shoulders, exposing his finely toned muscles. I look up to meet the eyes of Dustin Grey. One of the men who work on the surrounding landscaping.

"Perhaps you should have considered that beforehand."

A smile stretches across both of our faces.

"I'll be sure to be careful from now on ma'am."

I dust the dirt off my skirt that suits my body perfectly. I take a quick second to admire how it looks on me, while Dustin picks my handbag and sunglasses off the ground for me.

"I believe these belong to you."

He hands me my bag and takes ahold of the sunglasses with both of his hands. He stares down at them momentarily before bringing them up to my eye level. He extends his arms to gently place the sunglasses on for me. As he does, he slowly leans over me. His face inching closer and closer to mine.

I've never minded being an independent woman. I've prided myself on that. I don't mind a little attention though.

He continues to inch closer to me in slow motion until his lips are dangerously close to mine. I can feel his warm breath against my skin. I close my eyes, simply because that's what I think I'm supposed to do at this moment, to prepare myself for his wonderful...

"And that wraps it up."

Huh? My eyes shoot wide open and it takes me a moment to gather my surroundings.

I sigh deeply as I gather my books. It was just another one of my vivid, fantasy driven daydreams; the sole reason I survived yet another boring class.
