"Sooooo...are either of you going to let me go, or are you just going to play tug of war with Tamra for the rest of the day?" I feel like I'm about to be ripped in half, leaving half of me in Ryan's hands and the other half in Decker's.
Both of them jump a bit, realizing that they've been squeezing the life out of my arms during their little staring contest.
"Sorry Tamra," Decker massages my arm lightly.
Ryan reaches out and tugs a loose strand of my hair. "Hey, didn't you come in here to get some food?"
Gasp! How could I have forgotten? My precious, precious food! But...I turn my head to see a fast approaching demon. Susan from accounting.
"Get someone to clean this mess up," Decker snaps at one of the lackeys lurking behind him. His eyes are locked on the hair that Ryan is twirling with his fingers. Torrence slinks up and scratches her nails down Decker's arm. "Tamra," she purrs, tilting her head and stabbing me with her cold, dead eyes, "since you were the one who threw your food all over the place, shouldn't you be responsible for cleaning it up?"
"That's not..." Ryan begins, but I quickly raise up on my tip toes to slap my hand over his mouth. Stupid, sexy tall man. For once in her terrible life, Torrence is doing me a favor by giving me an escape route.
"You are absolutely right Torrence!" I grab the back of Ryan's shirt and backpedal towards the exit. "I'll go find someone to clean this up right away!"
"Tamra, wait!" Two voices shout at the same time, one deep and earth shaking, the other high pitched and reedy. Decker and Susan from accounting stare at each other blankly.
"Sorry guys, this is clearly a workplace hazard. I have to do my duty to make sure my fellow employees are safe!" I give both of them a salute before shoving Ryan through the double doors and into the hallway.
"Book it, loser!" I begin to sprint, Ryan trailing after me. "Where are we going?" He catches up quickly, matching my pace. "Dude, I don't even know. Let's just get out of here! I can't think when I'm so hungry!" I skid to a quick stop and backtrack when I spot Lee, one of the janitors who takes care of the first floor.
"Hey Lee, I'm in a bit of a pinch, could you clean up a mess I made in the cafeteria? I'll owe you one!" He nods sleepily and then Ryan and I shoot out of the building, racing down the block. We round the corner and stop, hands on our knees and panting.
"So what should we do now?" Ryan stands and stretches. My mouth sort of waters when his shirt lifts, showing a surprisingly defined set of abs. When, how, and why did he get so ripped?! "Tamra?" Fingers snap in front of my face and I realize I've been completely zoning out. Ryan chuckles and slings his arms over my shoulders. "Let's go get you some food and then you can go back and deal with Susan's bullshit with a full brain battery. My treat."
"Ooh, your treat, huh? I like the sound of that!"

So I totally suck, sorry! It's kind of a joke between me and my friends that I never finish any stories that I start writing. I get writer's block super bad.
Maybe I can get some help? I have some ideas about where this story can go, but I want to know: who's your favorite guy, Decker or Ryan?
