"Grandma, can you please read the-the the beauty and the beast story again?"

The little girl sweetly plead with her big blue eyes, the brown curls of her rested upon her shoulder, her soft ivory skin glowed against the moon' light passing through the wooden window.

She's sitting on the edge of her bed with glass of  warm milk in her right hand, and the left rest on her lap brushing the garment of her evening gown, innocently facing her grandma that is sipping her honey tea; dressed in her green sliky night gown, the wrinkles in her face moved-- contemplating wether to grant the little child's wish

she slowly put her tea cup down to the wooden table beside her

"Hmm, why not sweetie?"

After putting down the tea cup, the grandma gently stand--- "damn this feeble knee, even standing has its tolls" she whispered in her mind---

after she managed to stand, she walked gracefully toward to the other corner of the room, where the shelves carefully alined, new and thousand year old books rest, but it's not the dusty shelves she's walking to rather toward an ancient wooden cabinet, where no single soul in the mansion know where and when this cabinet emerged but the grandma.

60 years or so ago, a beautiful maiden who's a sight to see came to the mansion, wearing a silky black gown that reach the floor and sways like a wave whenever she walks, the gown's hugging her narrow waist intricate with golden line

and there, she touched a book, running her fingers along its spine, her fingers met the soft and delicate leather of the book

its surface tells how ancient it is, from its brown dusty cover to its rippled pages, yet, even how disgusting it may seem,

Bound in brown leather, cracked and dry for ages,

Encrypted with golden letter

Words within waiting to be sang off its brittle pages

"Grandma, what are you doing?" the young girl asked, brows furrowed, eyes burning with curiosity

The grandma, turned to the little girl, sweetly smiling

"Oh darling, aren't you curious of the whole story?"

"Oh, yeah right!"

The old lady turned her back to the child, faced the book again, mysterious smile formed within her thin lips, eyes glinting with excitement

a deep sigh then she face the little girl again

"Then, I think it's about time"

It's about time....
