Heath, Lynn, David, and Jason sat in Toddy's room waiting for Zane, Todd, and Scott to come home.
Heath: Lynni, Todd has a piano, why don't you play us something?
Heath nudged his sister, David immediately turned on his camera.
Lynn: Nah, I'm good.
David: Don't worry Lynn, if it's not good I won't use it.
Jason: No, if it's terrible he'll still use it.
Lynn looked down, slightly embarrassed.
Heath: Remember what we talked about?  Take a risk, Lynni, at least this is a small one.
She sighed and looked at her brother.
Lynn: Fine.
She stood from Toddy's bed and went over to the electric piano.  She turned it on and took a deep breath.
Lynn: Requests?
David: My vlog intro.
She switched up settings and played it decently enough.  David laughed and jumped up and down.
David: Yes!
She laughed and switched the setting back.
Lynn: Keep your pants on David.
David: I have a girlfriend.
Lynn: Same, she's a beautiful older woman who lives in Chicago.
David: Wait what?
Jason: She's sleeping with your mom, David.
Lynn: Sorry you had to find out this way son.
She played a suspenseful tune, David laughed.
Lynn: Anything else that isn't less than ten seconds long?
The room stayed silent, she sighed and hesitated.
Lynn: I got one.
She started to play a song that they didn't automatically recognize.  It must've been a piano cover.
Lynn: Sick of being in my head and thinkin' about my fate and worry about my health.  Wanna waste away my days with some pretty young thing and go thru all my wealth.
She changed the tune.
Lynn: I made some mistakes not so good with planning but I got some skills in easy living.  Cut my ties with desperation and learn to live with a little sensation.
David stood back so he could get all of her playing.

She looked at David's camera.

David laughed slightly.

She immediately took her seat next to Heath, putting her hood over her head and pulling the strings tight.  Heath laughed and hugged his sister from the side.

Heath laughed and loosened her hood.

Lynn looked up in front of her to see a person she'd never thought she would see in front of her a day in her life.  She immediately jumped back in shock.
Lynn: WHAT THE HELL IS JOSH PECK DOING HERE?!
The room laughed, David thankfully was filming the entire time.
Josh: Hey there, you're Heath's sister?  I didn't even know he had a sister!
Lynn: I DIDN'T KNOW HE KNEW YOU!
She had her hand on her chest as she tried to take deep breaths, her poor fangirl introverted heart could barely take it.
Josh: Calm down now, don't have a heart attack.
Lynn: Ooooh I see Jesus.
She fanned herself, Josh laughed and grabbed her hand.
Josh: No my name's Josh, people get us confused all the time.
She laughed and shook Josh's hand.
Lynn: My names Lynn, I can't believe your standing in front of me right now.

He let go of her hand and rustled her hair.
Josh: Welcome to the vlog squad Lynn!
She laughed as he went over to talk to David.  Lynn looked over at Heath with wide eyes.
Lynn: You need to start telling me these things.
Heath: I'm sorry Lynni, you can see that a lot goes on here.
She shrugged and looked across the room at Zane, he was talking with Scott.  He caught her eye and smiled at her, she smiled back and looked down.  Heath snapped in front of her face.
Heath: Can you not undress my bestie with your eyes.
She laughed and kept her face down.
Lynn: Sorry bubba.
Jason: Awe that's adorable, she has nicknames for her brother.
Lynn: Sorry if your siblings didn't care enough to give you one.
The room screamed in unison.
Jason: That was mean!
Lynn: I'm not mean!  I'm just not nice!
Heath: Same here!

David: So Lynn, I thought you should know that in the past, Gabbie and Zane have kissed a few times.
Lynn: Oh, okay, lucky Zane.
He put his camera down and looked over at Gabbie, who was emersed in her phone.  He looked back at Lynn with a frustrated look.
David: Lynn you gotta exaggerate, for the vlog.
She smiled and stood up.
Lynn: Fine, go again.
He aimed his camera back at her.
David: So Lynn, I thought you should know that Gabbie and Zane have kissed a few times in the past.
Lynn: What?!  Seriously?! Gabbie what the hell why wouldn't you tell me?!
Gabbie's head quickly snapped up.
Gabbie: What?
She looked over at Lynn and saw David with the camera, oh great.
Lynn: You kissed Zane?! 
Gabbie stood up.
Gabbie: Lynn, I'm sorry if you like Zane but it was mostly for David's vlogs!
Lynn: No!  No Gabbie I see how it is!!!
She walked closer to Gabbie.
Lynn: I'm not pretty enough for you!
Gabbie broke a smile.
Gabbie: Wait what?
Lynn: We've been friends for like 3 days now and I don't even get a kiss on the cheek, what the hell Gabs?!
Gabbie started laughing and fell back down on the couch.
Gabbie: I WAS ACTUALLY SCARED!
Lynn sat down on the couch next to Gabbie and pulled her into a hug.
Lynn: I could never be mad at you!
David came over to them laughing and pointing his camera at the two.
David: I wasn't expecting that.
Heath: Nuh uh!  I better not be seeing this!
Heath walked out and gasped loudly, David pointed his camera.
Heath: NAH!! Gabbie you can't have my best friend AND my sister!
Lynn: Heath it's not what it looks like!
Heath: I don't wanna hear it bitch, now come out and smoke a ciggy with me.
She stood up and waved as she walked out.
Lynn: Be back!
She went out the the backyard with Heath, he passed her a cigarette as he lit his own.  She smiled and took it, taking Heath's lighter and lighting hers.
Heath: Have you thought about being a singer?
She smiled and laughed.
Lynn: No I have not, I'm not all that good, I think I have more of a chance being a comedian.
Heath: Go for both!
She looked at him confused.
Lynn: I don't think I can do both.
Heath: Gabbie is kind of like that, if she can do it so can you.
She moved her shoulders up and closed her eyes.
Lynn: I was thinking I could just work from home...
Heath: Really Lynni?
Lynn: I could do video editing for others and get paid for it!
He looked at her with slight disbelief.
Lynn: I know I act really social, and I really can be, but it's draining.  I don't know if you remember bubba but you had to drag me to every party I've ever been to.
She took a pull of her cigarette.
Lynn: Acting like that all the time... It makes me feel tired just thinking about it.
Heath took his cigarette from his lips.
Heath: Am I pushing a little too hard?
She scratched the back of her neck.
Lynn: A little, you just gotta let me adjust a bit.
Heath: I'm sorry Lynni, I'm just so excited that I finally get to see you everyday again, I haven't seen you much since high school.
She looked down.
Lynn: I'm sorry Heath.
She looked back up at him and smiled.
Lynn: I'll let you have my party self for the time I'm here, but when I move I'm gonna need adjustment time, okay?
Heath smiled and put his hands in the air victoriously.
Heath: YUS!
She smiled and took a final pull of her cigarette, putting it out in the nearby ashtray.
Lynn: So what's tonight's plan?  Just hang in the Denny house?
He shrugged and put out his cigarette.
Heath: I'm getting kinda hungry, you wanna go somewhere or order in?
She smiled and thought.
Lynn and Heath: Pizza.
They smiled at each other and laughed, moments like that were rare for them.
Lynn: You into veggie pizza yet?
Heath: Yeah it's not that bad.
Lynn: Good cause that's what I want.
Heath: Damn bitch what if I wanted pepperoni?
She looked at him unamused.
Lynn: Don't think I haven't noticed that you don't eat meat no more.
Heath looked down and smiled.
Heath: I lost a lot of weight cause of it, and exercise.
They walked over to the benches by the house.  She thought about something, her brother was exercising regularly now and he's been eating healthier.... Shouldn't he have quit smoking at some point?
Lynn: Hey Heath, can I ask you something?
He pulled out his phone going to the Domino's app.
Heath: You just did.
She smiled and pushed him.
Heath: What's up?
Lynn: If you exercise and eat healthier why didn't you give up smoking.
He looked like he froze for a moment, then he sighed and locked his phone.
Heath: I did, I'm just kinda falling off the wagon right now.
Lynn: So we are in a similar position with the addiction huh?
He looked down and nodded.
Heath: Yeah, I'm sure when we both get adjusted we'll help each other quit.
She smiled and shook her head.
Lynn: Baby, the reason we get along so well is because we're each other's enablers. 
He looked at her and smiled.
Heath: It's always been hard to say no to you.
Lynn: You used to kick my ass for not doing the things you wanted to do so it's just ingrained now.
He laughed and pushed her.
Heath: I was nothing but good to you, little liar!
Zane opened the door and came over to them looking rushed.
Heath: Zane, you okay?
He has his camera up on them.
Zane: Pull out and unlock your phone.
Lynn: What?
He pointed at Heath.
Zane: Baby pull out your phone and unlock it!
He almost sounded upset, Heath reached into his pocket quickly and unlocked it.  Health rolled his eyes when he noticed that his phone was open on the Domino's app.
Heath: Baby it's not that serious.
Zane: YOU WERE GONNA ORDER PIZZA WITHOUT ME!
Heath: Baby don't act like I wouldn't get you nothing!!
Heath clapped as he spoke, Lynn stood up.
Lynn: Baby calm down you know we would've asked you.
Zane: Yeah right!  You both betrayed me, I thought we had something!
His voice was dramatic, it made her giggle.
Lynn: What kind of pizza you want baby?
Zane: I'm on a diet.
And then he ran away... Lynn looked back at Heath confused.
Lynn: You both better not wake me up to a camera.
Heath: I can't promise that baby.

Finally home and changed into her oversized hoodie and sleep shorts, Lynn falls face first on the couch.

He sat down on the chair next to the couch.
Heath: Whhhaaaatttt?
She looked over at him.
Lynn: Suitcase, coffee bag, go get please?
Heath: Lynn you didn't.
Lynn: I had to see if it would work and it did, I learned how to reseal it and everything.
Heath: I mistook you, you take bigger risks than me!
He got up with a groan and went over to her suitcase.  He wheeled it over to her.
Heath: I ain't doing all that work.
He sat back down, she rolled her eyes.  She opened her suitcase and pulled out two bags of coffee, she handed a green bag to Heath.
Lynn: Here, this was actually meant for you.
Heath looked at it and smiled.
Heath: Awe that's so sweet Lynni.
Lynn: Well, you wanna smoke with me?
Heath: Nah, I think I'm just gonna turn in.
She was slightly disappointed, but more for her.
Heath: You can roll in here but you gotta smoke on the balcony.
Lynn: Got it, night bro.
He stood up and ruffled her hair.
Heath: Night night little stoner.
He went to his room, closing his door.  Zane walked thru the front door as Lynn was pulling out a rather big zip lock bag from a coffee bag.
Zane: Lynn please tell me you didn't get it on the airplane.
She looked at him and smiled.
Lynn: If I get help smoking it I won't be leaving with it.
Zane: I don't really smoke, sorry.
She looked down, she realized he barely talked to her all day.  Maybe he's suddenly losing interest, she closed the coffee bag and put it back in her suitcase.
Lynn: Gonna head to bed?
Zane: I uh... I actually wanted to hang out with you for a bit before I do, if you're down for it.
Lynn: Are you okay with the smoking?
He smiled and sat down next to Lynn on the couch.
Zane: I don't mind it at all, if it makes you happy then it's fine with me.
She blushed and pulled out her book and wrap.
Zane: So you're rolling yourself a blunt?
Lynn: Yep, blunts over jays any day.
He crushed the green leaves over the open wrap gently.
Zane: When did you learn how to do that?
Lynn: Oh I learned how to roll when I was like sixteen.  My girlfriend got tired of being the only one rolling, so she taught me, then I became the only person who rolled.
Zane laughed slightly and watched as she rolled her blunt rather quickly and neatly.
Zane: Shit, have you been doing that every day since you were sixteen?
She smiled and winked at him, standing up and walking to the balcony.
Lynn: You coming?
He nodded and stood up, following her outside.  They sat down in the chairs and closed the balcony door.  Lynn lit her blunt and took a deep breath in, filling her lungs with the smoke then slowly exhaling.
Zane: You look like you really enjoyed that.
She smiled and looked at him.
Lynn: It helps with a lot.
He smiled and looked down, not sure what to say.
Lynn: So, you didn't talk to me much today.
Zane: I wanted to but I didn't know what to say.
She shrugged and smiled.
Lynn: You didn't have to say anything.
He looked up at her confused, she giggled and took another hit.
Lynn: Next time you don't talk to me much I'm gonna approach you.
She leaned in closer to him.
Lynn: And I'm not gonna say anything, I'm just gonna lean in close...
He started to lean in slowly, she smiled as she felt the slight prickle of his facial hair on her face.
Lynn: And maybe, just maybe.
Before he could close the gap between them, she moved back and took a pull of her blunt.
Zane: Just maybe what?
His eyes dailated slightly, she giggled.
Lynn: Just maybe I'll kiss you.
Zane smiled and blushed slightly, biting his lip.
Zane: I'd like that.
Lynn: I'm sure you would.
She took a pull and accidently blew the smoke towards Zane.
Lynn: Oh, sorry.
He rolled his eyes.
Zane: Lynn.
He took the blunt from her hand and took a hit from it, blowing out a big cloud of smoke like he's been smoking forever.  She looked at him with wide eyes.
Zane: What?
Lynn: That... That was hot.
He laughed and took another hit before he passed it back to her.
Zane: Corrupting the innocent?
He blew the smoke at her purposefully, she laughed.
Lynn: Nothing is more arousing.
He blushed and looked down, smiling uncontrollably.
Zane: You like me huh?
She bit her lip and blushed, Zane looked up at her.
Lynn: I do, I'm just scared to fuck everything up.
Zane: How would you do that?
She shrugged.
Lynn: To be honest, I'm not sure, I just know in my past I've been the problem.
He hesitated, he had a question he wanted to ask but he didn't want to know the answer.
Zane: Have you... Ever cheated?
She sighed and looked down, taking another pull.
Lynn: No.
She exhaled the smoke deeply.
Lynn: I never cheated, but... I also never chased hard enough...  I never seemed to love hard enough.
He took her hand.
Zane: They weren't the ones for you, I'm not saying I might be but... Hell, I'd like to be.
She looked up at him with her eyes becoming glossed over.
Lynn: What if you hate me after?
Zane: I don't think I can, if it makes you feel any better, I got told I was the problem as well and I never cheated.
She laughed slightly, turning the blunt off by licking her fingers and pinching the cherry.
Lynn: Either we're perfect together or we crash and burn.
Zane: No such thing as perfect baby.
He didn't have sass in his voice that time, baby sounded more serious.  She looked at him and blushed.

Zane: Why not tell people?

He looked at her confused.
Zane: But you said not to tell anyone.
She smiled a little bigger and covered her face with one hand, still holding Zane's in the other.
Lynn: We just don't say anything about it.  Not "hey guys, we're dating" none of that.
Zane: So what would I say if someone asked?
Lynn: Tell them "I don't know, are we?" And leave it a mystery, even if it's obvious.
He laughed and kissed her hand.
Zane: Perfect, love the plan.
She smiled and let go of his hand, standing up.
Lynn: Wanna go watch something with me?
Zane smiled and looked down.
Zane: Nah I was thinking about turning in.
She looked down, slightly disappointed.
Lynn: Oh, okay, yeah I guess it is pretty late.
He looked up at her, still smiling.
Zane: Would you by any chance be interested in laying down with me for a bit?
She blushed and turned away, smiling madly.  He stood up smiling, moving his hands to her waist.
Zane: Would you?
She looked up at him, her face pink with a huge smile.
Lynn: Yeah.
He smiled and kissed her cheek gently.
Zane: Then let's go.
He moved from her and opened the balcony door, letting her step inside first.  He closed the door behind him and led her to his room by the small of her back.  She smiled at the small gesture, no one's done that before.  He closed his bedroom door behind them.
Zane: Just letting you know, I'm a really good cuddler.
She giggled and climbed into his bed.
Lynn: I'll be the judge of that.
He smiled at her and took off his shirt, he was a little chubby but still adorable.  He climbed into bed with her and made sure they were both under the covers.

She walked out of his room and didn't turn off the lights, she had a feeling he wasn't gonna be going to sleep soon.
She walked out onto the balcony and pulled out her cigarettes.  She opened her pack and seen she didn't have any left.
Lynn: Shit.
She felt a tap on her side, she looked down at the seats quickly to see Heath sitting there with an unlit cigarette in his mouth.
Lynn: I thought you went to bed.
Heath: Nightmares have been getting to me, were you talking with Zane?
Lynn: Uh, yeah. 
He tiredly pulled his pack out of his sweatpants and passed her a cigarette.
Heath: I know that's why you came out here.
She smiled and took it from him, sitting down next to him.
Lynn: All of this is really okay with you?
He rubbed his eyes and sniffled.
Heath: You're happy, he's happy, and I'm happy.
He lit his cigarette and breathed out the smoke.
Heath: Besides, Zane's respectful, out of everyone I'm glad you chose him.
She held her unlit cigarette in her mouth.
Lynn: What was your nightmare about?
He looked up at her and lit her cigarette with his lighter.
Heath: Kinda foggy now.
She smiled and exhaled smoke.
Lynn: Liar, c'mon I can see it still fucking you up.
He sighed and rubbed his forehead.
Heath: In my nightmare, Mariah broke up with me, you and Zane were ending things violently in the living room.  The house was just filled with negativity, screaming, and sadness...
She took a deep pull of her cigarette.
Lynn: Wow... That's... That's quite a dream.
He rubbed his eyes again.
Heath: Yeah, I was crying in my sleep.
Lynn: That's not gonna happen bubba, I promise.
Heath: Yeah, that's what Mariah said.
Lynn: If two important women in your life are saying it then it must be true. 
He chuckled slightly and took a pull of his cigarette.
Heath: Maybe you're right Lynn, I just really really hope that you're not wrong.
She looked down and flicked her cigarette.
Lynn: Maybe I shouldn't move here after all...
His head quickly snapped up at her.
Heath: Stop taking everything there Kaia-Lynn.  If you don't want to live here just say that.
Her eyes started to water, she leaned forward and rested her elbows on her lap.
Lynn: I don't want to inconvenience you, I don't want to cause trouble...
Heath: And you won't!  Kaia-Lynn you have to believe me when I tell you that.  Even if things do go south with Zane and Mariah I will always have you and you will always have me.  At the end of the day we're blood and I want you as close as you possibly can be.
She sniffled and kept her head down.
Lynn: I'm sorry that I upset you.
Heath: You didn't upset me, I'm trying to get it into your head.
He rubbed his knuckle on the top of her head, making her jump back in her seat.
Lynn: Ouch!  Heath!
Heath: That's what you get for crying.
She looked at him and started to crack a smile.
Heath: There we go, a smile!  And it looks gorgeous on you Kaia-Lynn.
She laughed and hit his arm.
Lynn: Stop calling me that, you know I don't like it.
He smiled and rubbed his arm over where she hit him.
Heath: I know you don't, I like to annoy you.
He smiled sweetly at her, she smiled and face palmed.
Heath: Did you finish that blunt?
Lynn: Half of it left in the ashtray.
He smiled and pulled the blunt out of the ashtray.  He turned off his cigarette and passed the ashtray to Lynn so she could do the same.  Lynn put the ashtray back down on the table as Heath lit the blunt.
Heath: What is this?
He exhaled smoothly but then started couching, she laughed.
Lynn: If I remember correctly, I got three strains before I came here and mixed them together.
Heath: Isn't that something stoners don't do?
She looked at him with disbelief and laughed.
Lynn: Are you kidding me?  Mixed blunts are the best.  Anyway, it's a mix of Chemdawg, Ghost OG, and I believe Girl Scout Cookies. 
He looked at her wide eyed.
Heath: You do know all of those are pretty much indica hybrids right?
Lynn: I know, and they're also pretty strong, to be honest they sell some pretty good weed in Somewhere.
He passed the blunt to her, she hit it almost happily.
Lynn: Shit, my dealer is gonna miss me, I was her best customer.
Heath: Yeah, seeing as how you pretty much got an ounce of exotics, I'm pretty sure she loves you.
She laughed and looked at him.
Lynn: She gives me free dubs on my birthday, in fact she's the only one, besides you for course, that talked to me on my birthdays.
He nodded.
Heath: Nice, sucks you gotta lose that connect.
Lynn: Yeah, but maybe she'll give me a good going away present.
Lynn put the blunt in her mouth as she did the evil pyramid of fingers.  Heath laughed and took the blunt from her mouth after she finished pulling from it.
Heath: We can only hope right?
Lynn: Yep.
She exhaled the smoke.
Heath: So what were you and Zane talking about?
She instantly turned away from him, keeping her mouth in a tight line.
Heath: Lynni you did not!
She instantly snapped her head to him.
Lynn: No no no!  We didn't do that, not yet.
Heath: Then what did you do you nasty child!
She laughed and looked down.
Lynn: We uh... We talked about it, before that we made out a little.
Heath: Mhm, yeah sure, that's AALLLL that happened.
Lynn: He said he wanted to wait.
His face of disbelief faded into a twisted smile, he looked like he was trying to hold in a laugh.
Heath: Oh Lynni, you came out her to smoke cause you got blue balled didn't you?
She blushed slightly and looked down.
Lynn: Just a little bit.
He finally let out a laugh.
Heath: I'm sorry but that's hilarious!  I usually see it the other way around!
She hit his arm.
Lynn: It's like 3 am stop screaming.
Heath: Stop hittin' me!
Zane: Everything alright out here?
They looked behind them to see Zane standing at the balcony door in a t-shirt and his boxers.  Heath started laughing again, then he started coughing.  Lynn took the blunt from his hand and took a pull from it, looking at Zane.
Lynn: He's laughing cause me and you didn't fuck.
Zane looked down and blushed, smiling.
Zane: Sorry I'm such a gentleman?
Heath: No no, that's not what's funny.
He pointed at Lynn but looked at Zane.
Heath: See I know her, so I know for a fact she was probably the one pushing to go there.  I think it's hilarious cause she used to brag whenever we got blasted that she can get anyone in bed.
Heath was laughing as he talked, Zane smiled along with him.
Zane: I play hard to get.
Lynn: Don't worry baby, I'll get you, I don't mind the wait.
She winked at him, it made him blush and look down again.
Heath: Aw that's adorable!  Lynni you're embarrassing him!
Zane: Nuh uh!  Shut up!
He went back inside and sat on the couch, Lynn turned off the blunt and looked at Heath.
Lynn: Your boyfriend is upset.
Heath: Oh, so now that he's upset he's suddenly MY boyfriend?
She laughed and put the clip in the ashtray.
Lynn: Go to bed, loser, I can see the sleep deprivation getting to you.  She stood up and walked inside, Heath following along with her.
Heath: Ooohhhh ten dollar words!
She turned around and looked at him, hands on her hips.
Lynn: Heath Hussar, go to bed or else I'll tell Mariah you were mean to me.
Heath: And what would that do?
She sniffled slightly, making tears come to her eyes.
Lynn: Mariah, I don't know why but Heath just... I think he's mad at me and I don't know why.
She hid her face in her hands, Heath threw up his hands in defeat.
Heath: Fine fine I'm going to bed!  Behave, both of you.
He walked out of the living room into his own bedroom.  After she heard his door close, she sat down on the couch next to Zane.
Lynn: I'm either with one or the other, never by myself.
He chuckled slightly and looked down.
Zane: So... Are you really able to get anyone you want in bed?
He looked over at her, but tried to avoid her eyes.  She smiled slightly and looked down at her lap.
Lynn: Honestly, maybe at one point, but definitely not now.  I mean... I wish I could, I wouldn't have been single for so long if I could...
He smiled and finally looked at her face.
Zane: Wouldn't have?
She smiled and blushed, looking up at him.
Lynn: Well, I'm not really single now, am I?
He blushed and looked down.
Zane: No, and neither am I...
She held his hand in hers gently.
Lynn: I want to get to know you.
Zane: I want that too.
