"Dad can we go to out to lunch," I asked him while giving puppy dog eyes. And of course he gave in.

A few hours later I was in my room when my dad came in,"I'm sorry we can't have lunch today I got a call and have to go to a meeting," he said.

Why was I expecting today to be any different than all the others. He always gets calls and cancels everything we were supposed to be doing.

I was calling my friend oliva to see if she wanted to come over and hang out. She said she would be here in about an hour.

When she arived we started talking about school and my 'mom' came barging in. " your dad is dead," she cried.
