It's been about a month since the treatment and I still haven't been having any symptoms yet the doctor said it might take awhile.
But awhile was a little to long for me to handle so I've been trying to keep my mind off of it by keeping up with my normal schedule work, online shopping , reading , playing games , looking at baby stuff .
Like now I'm out grocery getting some food because my house is empty and just trying to keep negative thoughts away
me being busy talking to myself I didn't see the man walking in front of causing us to collided into one another.
I started to fall backwards so Me being me I started to wave my arms frantically and tread on my heels but it just so happened the the stranger caught me just in time.
He pulled me up with ease we ended up being so close that I could smell his body wash. I quickly pulled away before the stranger noticed that I was smelling him.
I backed away only to finally look up and be bought into a state of shock
Standing right in front of me was fine and-
"Hey my names Derrick " he said cutting me out of my thoughts that were about to get real nasty.
After a while I noticed he was holding out to me.
" Mmmmh " I blanked not knowing what to say to this man then something clicked and my smile faded.
This was Derrick as in Derrick Williams !!!
He still had his hand out awaiting mine I forced a smile while placing my hand in his
As our hands touched I felt tiny sparks flying up my arms
Gasping I pulled my hand back then staring at him as he had his eyes focused in on me I wondered if he had to felt those sparks too.
I watched as his eyes turned a slightly darker color making the seem more light brown rather than the yellow color they where before
"Umm I've got to finish my shopping but it was nice meeting you" I said with a smile and started to turn away
Before I can make my escape he reached out and grabbed my wrist stopping me
I tuned and looked back at him
"Yes" I asked politely with a fake smile gracing my face
He tilted his head to the side as if he were observing me
" You're not going anywhere" he said his voice is getting deeper
I tried to pry my hand from his
"You're MINE " his vice like grip along with the animalistic growl in his voice added to my fear
His eyes began to turn cold then started to glow a gold color which got brighter with every breath he took his body started to shake
" You're scaring me" I said in a terrified voice
His grip loosened and and his eyes went soft
"I'm sorry I don't know what came over me"
I looked at him as if he were crazy I wrenched my wrist out of his hand and stepped away
"I have no clue who you are but i'm leaving now" even though I knew exactly who he was I didn't know what he was capable of
I started to make my way down the Isle
" Wait"
I heard Derrick shout after me
I turned towards him
"Can I have your number I really need to talk to you I'm sorry for scaring you but it's really important for me to keep in touch with you"
I stared at him as if he was stupid
"Is this usual for you to just casually attack people while they are grocery shopping then ask for their numbers " I say looking at him in a disbelieving manner
He looked at me pleadingly
"I did not attack you"
"Then what do you call that what just happened" I looked him in the eyes
"It was a mistake but I honestly need to keep in touch with you it may sound odd at this moment but I really need to keep in contact with you"
I went on to say something else but he cut me off
"I will explain everything to you if you just give me a time and your number so we can meet up sometime"
"We can start over"
"Well you are cute but for now I'll just give you my number I don't think we'll meet up as soon as you think we will but we can keep in contact if its that important to you" I say looking at him
His smile was genuine
"Thank you for understanding"
We exchanged numbers and I went about my day still reminiscing about what just happened
When I got home I called my best friend and told her the whole story
"Girl that sounds creepy as hell why in the hell would you give him your number after what he did to you you stupid or something" my friend Rosa yelled at me
Rosa is my Hispanic friend who swears up and down that shes black
"Why in the hell are you yelling in my ear I can hear you perfectly fine thank you just because I gave him my number does not mean that I'm going to actually call him or answer calls and it certainly doesn't mean that I'm going to go out with him" I say using a sassy tone
"Whatever you say just make sure that you'll be fine I don't want you hurt by this guy alright" she sounded genuinely concerned
"I'll be fine Chica I know what I'm doing just trust me" I said laughing slightly
She laughed with me
"Just know that I'm here for you bye baby mamma " she joked
"Bye crazy ass"
We hung up and I took a long nap thinking about what I was gonna do and what the hell the Sparks could've meant
