I wrote a poem based on one of our favorite quotes form our book club book and I thought I would share it.
My book was "I Will Always Write Back" by Caitlin Alifirenka and Martin Ganda with Liz Welch. It's a good book I definitely recommend it.
"This type of pickup work automatically put you in the lowest class. I had no choice. If I couldn't depend on my father, I'd have to make money myself." (That was the quote I picked)
The season of grief
Money, never had to earn
But father got fired
I know it's not the best but I'm not that good at poetry. I did a haiku cause I love them and my teacher liked it so I guess it's good.
