"Hey, still need that lift?", Jane's voice called to the odd pair in front of the pet store. Thor smiled widely before sharing a glance with Elaine who was beaming up at him excitedly.

"Jane Foster, I'm grateful you changed your mind!" Thor boomed happily, climbing in the passenger as Elaine positioned herself in the back behind the center console so she could be included. And then they were off, the unusual trio in a ratty van.

The first part of the ride was only slightly awkward silence, but thirty minutes in Jane piped up, "You know, I've never done anything like this before."

Thor chuckled slightly when Elaine offered the same sentiments from the back, laughing a little louder when the redhead asked with a nervous chuckle, "Have... you done anything like this before?"

"Many times." The blonde assured the women, nodding as he turned to look at them both, "But the two of you are brave to do it."

"Well, they just stole my entire life's work. I don't really have much else to lose." Jane admitted bitterly, jerking the wheel a bit to avoid a pot hole. Elaine yelped as she instinctively reached out to steady herself, ending up grabbing Thor bicep- not being able to even reach around half of it, but she did feel it momentarily flex at her touch. With a blush she apologized, removing her hand but he simply brushed her off with a charming smile before returning to Jane's comment.

"Yeah, but your group is clever- far more clever than anyone else in this realm."

"Realm?" Elaine mirrored from the back, in a bemused tone, cocking her head as if to ask for an explanation. Jane chorused with her, looking at Thor expectantly.

"You think me strange?" The large man laughed, glancing between the two. Giggling, Elaine just shrugged muttering something witty as Jane bluntly informed him.

"Yeah, I do!" It was blunt, but in good nature as she laughed with Elaine and Thor. The redhead tisked before opening her mouth.

"Sorry, I'm going to have to agree with Jane." She giggled, patting Thor on the shoulder. Nodding as he took in their answers, he looked to the both of them again.

"Well, good strange or bad strange?" He asked, swiping his eyes back and forth between the two of them. Jane easily admitted her opinion.

"I'm not quite sure yet." She sighed, smiling at him unaware that she was veering off the road until they hit a deep pothole. Jane and Elaine screeched as Jane recklessly righted the vehicle, Thor laughing loudly and wildly all the while. Once the van was securely back on the road and the laughter had died down, Thor glanced back at the Elaine who was lazily staring at him from the back. Before Elaine could voice her thoughts, Jane spoke again.

"But who are you really?" She asked, not meanly or harshly- just pure curiosity. Turning back to the driving scientist, Thor thought for a moment before answering.

"You'll see soon enough." He answered ominously with a smirk on his face. Elaine crinkled her eyebrows as Jane frowned- that's not an answer, Elaine thought to herself as Jane voiced the same sentiment.

"You promised me answers." Jane whined, casting a sideways glance at Thor who met her eyes. He stayed silent for a moment, before nodding.

With a deep breath, he began, "What you seek? It's a bridge."

"Like an Einstein-Rosen Bridge?" Jane interrupted with a question, but Thor shook his head.

"More like a rainbow bridge." He affirmed, but at the last word multiple multicolored images flashed in Elaine's mind faster than she could register- earning a slight gasp as her eyes stopped seeing reality and instead tried to process these new images. Rapidly blinking and  slightly shaking her head (as not to draw attention), her vision returned only to find Thor's blue eyes staring at her again, one blonde eye brow quirked.
