Chapter Ten: Getting Back Together Again

"Hi Izzy," my very excited sister said. "I kept Daisy fed and rode her a lot."

"Thank you Elli," I said. "How is dad?" I asked.

"He is going to be just fine," she said. "Your old room is waiting for you. Mom fixed it up a bit,"

"That is great. Where is mom?" I asked.

"She is in the kitchen making lunch." Elli said.

"Thank You, I am going to go talk to her," I said.

"Alrighty," she said.

When I got into the house I had to take a second to take everything in. It had almost been a year since I had been in here last.

"Hi mom," I said.

"Izzy," my mom said as she dropped the bag of bread that she had in her hand.

"Hi, how are you doing?" I asked.

"I am good. How are you?" she asked "Oh, your dad is going to be just fine."

"I am good. Elli already told me that," I said.

After I chatted and had lunch, I went to my room to unpack all of my things.

The next morning I got dressed, ate breakfast, and went to see my dad. He was doing very good. He is also doing his cemo.

After that I came home, fellon my bed, and started texting my friends. After that I ate dinner and went to bed. I was so exhausted.

I did that for a week.

"Honey, someone is here to see you," my mom yelled up the stairs.

"Be right there," I said.

As I went down the stairs, I started to see a man in the doorway. As I got close, I noticed it was Bryan.

"Bryan, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Lindsay told me about your dad," he said.

"You could have called me to tell me that," I said.

"There is something else. Can we talk outside?" he asked.

"Sure we can go watch Daisy and talk," I said.

When we got outside Daisy was eating.

"So, what did you want to tell me?" I asked.

"I just wanted to tell you sorry for breaking up with you over the phone. I also hope that you will consider taking me back." he said.

"What?" I asked lost in thought.

"Izzy Lawrence will you be my girlfriend?" he asked.

I did not know what to say. First he broke up with me over the phone, and now he wants to be with me again.

"I know that it is a lot to ask and I definitely do not expect an answer today. I just want to know if we could have a chance together." he said.

"I don't know. You really hurt me," I said.

"Well you hurt me when you were avoiding me," he said.

"I am sorry about that. I just wanted to show Lindsay that we did not have to with each other 24/7. It was actually a bet. We dropped it after you broke up with me." I said.

"You should have told me," he said. "Then I would not of broken up with you.""I did not know how to," I said.

"You do realize that you have not answered my question yet right?" he asked.

"Bryan, I will take you back," I said with a smile.

After I said that, he leaned in for a kiss. I leaned in as well.
