CHAPTER 33: Family

Kim Dahyun's POV

I'm at home alone watching tv. I heard a knock at the door. OMG why does anyone have to interupt my alone time. I went to the door and opened it.

"Taeyeon its time to go" An old man said

"Sorry auntie's not here" I said to him because Aunt Taeyeon is in Japan

"Dahyun?!" The old man said and suddenly I recognise him

"Dad?! I mean Mr. Kim"

"I missed you" He said

"I don't" I rolled my eyes

"Where is your aunt?" He asked

"In Japan" I plainly answered

"How have you been?"

"What is that question? The last time you asked me that was when you cared. When it was just me, you and mom" I told him

"I'm sorry Dahyun but please come with me"

"To where?" I asked in a cold tone

"You know today is the Kim family reunion and your my daughter so I should bring you" He explained

"Did you treat me like your daughter. If I can recall Jennie was your daughter"

"I'm so-"

I cut him off with "Nothing can be fixed by a sorry, you taught me that. Now go I don't need you" He left

Flashback

I was only 10 years old when my mother died of cancer. My dad started drinking, every night he would come home drunk. Until one day "Princess listen to me okay"

"Yes daddy"

"I want you to meet her" A lady came in with nice clothes and makeup "This Jen your new mom"

"Hi Dahyun" The lady greeted

I just stared at her "Dahyun be nice"

"H-Hi" I shyly greeted then hid in my father's back

"She's shy and oh this is Jennie your sister" My dad explained

Through the years I tried to get close with Jennie but she keep bullying me and blaming me for the things I didn't do. I was taking it all in until one day

I got alot of school activities that's why I got home late. When I stepped inside, I was met by a slap "I can't believe you did that, I didn't raise you to be a slut" My dad said furiously

"W-What do you mean?!" I asked him, I'm very confuse by the situation

"Jennie told me you've been sleeping a lot of guys' bed" He said

"That isn't true!! Why do you think its true?"

"Because Jennie said so" I looked at Jennie, she was smirking. That evil b*tch. Dad pushed me out of the house and threw two luggage "You're not my daughter anymore"

Present time

I was now smoking when an idea went into my head. What if I crash that family reunion. I changed my clothes to this

I went the venue "Since my real daughter is not here, my stepdaughter will continue the project" My dad announced

"What project?" I asked and all of our relatives looked at me

"My dear daughter is here" He went towards me and hugged me, I hugged him back

"Sis!" Jennie exclaimed

I wanted to roll my eyes but I need fake it till I make it. She hugged me and I hugged her back. We sat down after that very awkward moment "Since my two daughters are hear we'll talk about the project with the Min family" Dad said

"And what is that?" I asked once again

"One of you girls are gonna get married to they're son" Just then a couple and a guy which look like they're son walked in. I just took a glance then looked down. Bad idea to come here "Hello Mr and Mrs. Kim. Girls say hi"

"Hello Mr and Mrs. Kim" Both of us greeted and we bowed neither me nor Jennie looked at them

"This must be your lovely daughters" Mrs. Min complimented

"Yes indeed" Dad said

"But I heard only one of them is your real daughter" Mrs. Min said

"That is true"

"Which is the real one?" Mr. Min asked

Please say Jennie "Dahyun the girl with blonde hair. She is good at playing the piano, rapping and she has the cutest smile" I felt like crying I didn't want to marry yet

"Good well this is Yoongi my son" Mrs. Min introduced

Me and Jennie quickly looked up "YOU!!" Both of us shouted in synchronization

"You know my son?" Mrs. Min asked

"He's my boyfriend" Jennie said

"He's my ex" I said

Mrs. Min was shocked "So he should be married to Jennie because him and her already have a relationship" I explained trying to get out of this situation

"As much as I would want to we want the daughter to be blood related to Mr. Kim" Mrs. Min said

I'm marrying Min Yoongi!!!
