Family Knots

Chapter 2

Amanda went in the building of Assassins. It was unexpectedly huge. Her eyes roamed in awe as they viewed the magnificent sights of the building.

Glynda smiled up at her because her sister never experienced times like this. For Glynda, they could escape the hell their oldest sister Anna had prepared.

"Es ist erstaunlich, Glynda. Wir können für immer hier bleiben," Amanda said in awe.

The younger sister chuckled. "Nicht, wenn Sie sich anmelden,"

They went for the front desk. Glynda asked a fill up form for her older sister. The attendant couldn't get her eyes off Amanda as she fumbled with the papers on her desk.

"Hier," she said as she handed the fill-up form Amanda. "Gib es mir, wenn du fertig bist,"

As she wrote everything, Glynda was watching her. The sister wanted to guard any activities she might do in the paper work.

"Salome," Glynda called out for the attendant.

Of course, she worked as a nurse in the hospital. She knew everyone in the academy. That was why she was mastered the place a lot.

Salome gave her a wait sign because she was handling the telephone for an important business call.

"Wie lange bist du schon hier," Amanda asked.

"Für zwei Monate," she answered.

Her classmate being an agent of the agency, invited her to this company. She was signed in here.

"Amanda, weißt du, wie man Englisch spricht," she asked.

"Ja, warum," she replied, then threw back a question.

"In dieser Agentur müssen Sie mit vielen Sprachen umgehen. Sie müssen jedoch in Englisch fließen," she explained.

"Glynda, Gib mir die Papiere," she instructed.

Salome scanned the paper for errors. She checked no errors in it.

"Ich gebe ihm den Chef,"  Salome said, before going up the stairs to the office of the big boss.

Salome immediately went down, making the two sisters confused. The big boss wasn't there.

"Glynda, is that your sister," Cairo asked.

Cairo is the big boss of the agency. He is the owner. He knew that Glynda worked with him. Glynda is young and beautiful. When he saw Amanda, he wanted to be with her. He wanted her to be his secretary.

"Yes, sir. She is my sister," she answered politely.

"You have a beautiful sister," he complimented, reaching out Amanda's hand and kissed it.

It took a long time for him to pull away. He felt the delicate hand of Amanda.

"Do you want to be my secretary," he asked.

She nodded.

At least, she could have work in here. It seemed she didn't have a choice. So, she agreed.

"You will start today," he said.

Today was the only day Cairo knew. He wanted to finish the job quickly as possible.

In dieser Agentur müssen Sie mit vielen Sprachen umgehen. Sie müssen jedoch in Englisch fließen.- In this agency, you have to deal with a lot of languages. However, you have to be fluent in English.

Gib mir die Papiere.- Give me the papers.

Ich gebe ihm den Chef.- I'll give this to the boss.
