It was that same guy who I saw at school, all in black. I had a perfect view of the first floor. I saw the group following my brother to the living room and sitting down on the couches. In front of the couches was a table full of snacks and drinks. I was soo hungry but I was scared of walking downstairs and being seen by them. But of course my stupid brother had other ideas.
"Hey Lily!! Come down if you want to eat or you will go to sleep hungry!" shouted Max. I had no choice to comply with him and go downstairs. I stopped behind the couches. Everyone in the living room was watching me. Max came towards me, grabbed my forearm and pulled me to sit next to the red-haired girl. The red-haired girl gave me a big plate full of snacks while smiling to me.
"Hi, I'm Scarlett. I'm one of your brother's friend. Let me introduce you to everyone. To my left is Carson, my boyfriend. On the other couches are Miles and Niall, the twins, and Maddy, the small blonde girl. And then on the third couch is Dominic with your brother. And I guess that's it, oh, Dominic is as old as your brother, 23. Me and Carson are the same age, 19. The twins are 20 and Maddy is the youngest, 18."
Scarlett seemed like a very happy and cheerful. Carson is very quiet. The twins are very loud and energetic. The whole time Scarlet was talking, the twins fought over a bag of chips. Maddy looked very shy and Dominic, well he had a face that said "if you talk to me, I'll punch you". Max and Dominic stood up and went on the porch and started to smoke. The twins saw that and sat closer to me.
"So Lily, we have heard so much about you from Max. He has been talking that you are the cutest sister in the world and that he won't let any guy come near you. Hahaha, its soo funny hearing about this all the time," said Niall while smirking towards Max. I was shocked hearing it, Max has always bullied and pranked me.
"I don't believe you. Max isn't like that," I told them.
"Oh yes, he is. He always brags about you to us, like how smart and talented you are. It's quite tiresome to listening to him talk none-stop about you," said Maddy smiling," He is very proud of you and loves you very much." It seemed like Max is completely different with his friends and when he is with me. I asked them lots of questions about my brother and how he was with them.
"Let's stop talking about Max and start talking about you. Are you single right now? Do you have any crushes? How about your hobbies? ect ect," asked Scarlett from me.
"I don't have any interest in guys right now. I just want to study and live my life freely without a guy. I love reading and doing sports," I told them.
"Hey, I've got a great idea! Lily, why don't you come to the beach with us this weekend? It's still very warm, so we can swim in the water," Miles suggested. Everyone was excited and so was I. I hadn't had the time to go to the beach when it was summer so now was perfect time. I said yes to them and they all were hyped. At the same time my brother and Dominic came back inside and asked us why we were so happy and energetic. The twins told them everything and Max wasn't so excited. He didn't like the idea of me going to the beach in bikinis. But everyone told him that he could watch over me so he calmed down. We all made plans for the beach and when the clock struck 2 a. m, everyone left and me and Max went to sleep.
