I missed this place.
Vicenzo's apartment was one of my favorite place to be at. Especially because it smelled like his perfume. It's so cozy here, and the people that matter the most to me at the moment live here, making me even happier that I'm visiting them.
The elevator dinged and opened its doors, reveling the penthouse. I looked around, taking in the smell that made me feel home, that made me feel loved.
But couldn't deny that I was already looking for Theo.
I spotted him spying me and his father while we were walking in. Seeing his little cute little face brought a huge smile to my face already.
I crouched down to his level and opened my arms, waiting for a big crushing hug.
He automatically came running towards me, full speed.
I'm glad he is as happy to see me, as I'm happy to see him.
"Mommy!" He used sign language to exclaim it.
Mommy?
I'm shocked at that statement, I love that kid as if he is mine, but I honestly didn't expected him to call me mommy. At the same time I'm exploding in happiness inside.
Looking up to Enzo, I see him wide eyed while waiting for my reaction. It was like I knew what it was going through his head.
I think I took him and Theo by surprise, when I hugged the little toddler tighter and spun us around.
Tears started to pool in my eyes again, seriously I've been crying way to much lately.
"Hi baby boy, I missed you so much" I tell Matteo. "Missed you too Mani" he signed with a little cute smile.
Vicenzo was smiling ear to ear. I could really see the happiness in his eyes, so called him over to have a big group hug.
"We are a family now" he whispered in mine and Theo's ear.
I was crying so much that I couldn't answer, so I just gave him a big smile instead.
After everyone calmed down, we still needed to choose something to order to eat and to do.
"Pizza and movie?" I looked at them both.
They just nodded their heads in agreement.
It was settled what we were going to do, so we order a pepperoni pizza and choose a family friendly movie, which had to be superhero themed since Matteo was obsessed with them.
We all ate the pizza under the covers on the couch while watching the movie.
I was laying my head on Vicenzo's shoulder and Theo was laying on my lap, asleep already. The tiredness took over me after that long day, so my eyelids started to close and I let darkness consume me.
It felt like hours passed when I felt someone lift me from the couch. I slowly opened my eyes to se Mr.Handsome caring me to his room.
"Mani go back to sleep, it's late babe" He said looking down at me.
I just closed my eyes and snuggled onto his rock hard chest.
"I love you Mr.Handsome" I smiled at him tiredly. "I love you too, Mrs.Beautiful" he laughed a little.
He putted me under the covers and not long after he laid beside me. Putting his arm over my waist, he pulled me closer to him.
Cuddling with him it's so good, his smell is amazing. That was the way we dozed of that night, happy and together.
This is surely one of the most remarkable days in my life. Theo is my baby now, and I will take care of him no matter what.
